Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has announced the official price for the 2020 Yamaha MT-15. Launched together with the 2020 Yamaha MT-25 back in September, the MT-15 will be arriving at showrooms this week with a price tag of RM11,998 (excluding insurance, road tax & registration).
For those who are looking for a budget yet fun naked bike, the 2020 Yamaha MT-15 should be high up on your list. Powered by a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled SOHC engine with Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, this beauty produces a respectable 19hp and 14.7Nm torque.
As the engine and transmission are based on the Yamaha YZF-R15, the MT-15 also gets a six-speed manual transmission as well as an assist/slipper clutch. Other features include gold USD front forks, rear monoshock (preload adjustable), dual disc brakes, 17-inch wheels, and 10.4-litre fuel tank.
Just like the MT-25, the 2020 Yamaha MT-15 comes in two different colour options; Yamaha Blue and Ice Fluo.
