New 2018 Ducati 959 Panigale Corse in the works?

A brand new 2018 Ducati 959 Panigale Corse emissions paperwork has been filed at the California Air Resources Board (CARB) recently.

According to the report, the emission numbers for both the standard 959 Panigale and the 959 Panigale Corse remains the same.

We’re guessing that the Corse version has the same engine but like all of Ducati Corse bikes, it’ll most probably come with some major upgrades to the electronics, suspensions, brakes and facade.

According to a recent report made by, Ducati has filed some paperwork to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for what looks like a new middleweight superbike that is the Ducati 959 Panigale Corse for 2018.

According to the said report, the 2018 Ducati 959 Panigale Corse has the same emission figures as the standard 959 Panigale. This means that the engines and most parts of the two said bikes are probably going to be around the same specifications.

With that being said, don’t get your hopes down too fast. Based on Ducati’s history with their “Corse” models, we’re guessing that the 959 Panigale will go through an evolution and garnished with some very special parts.

Our guess? The 2018 Ducati 959 Panigale Corse will come with some exceptional packages related to its suspension, brake, electronics and most probably a kick-ass livery.

Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition

Our assumption is based on what Ducati had offered previously with their Corse versions of the 848 EVO and of course the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition where they were fitted with some pretty awesome upgrades.

While Ducati has already deep in their necks with developing their highly-anticipated Ducati V4 superbike replacement for the 1199 Panigale, their so called “middleweight” 959 Panigale will most unlikely get the same treatment as well due to financial constraints.

Sorry everyone, looks like we have to wait a bit longer for a V4-powered middleweight Ducati sportsbike.
