It was a tough financial year for some manufacturers last year, but Ducati managed to close the sales figures off on a positive note as they report a total sale of 53,183 units – a 1.4% increase compared to 2018 when they sold 53,004 bikes. Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, announced that the Malaysian military will be assisting the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and other authorities during the Movement Control Order starting this Sunday (22 March 2020). The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the USA has issued a recalled on a wide selection of 2020 BMW bikes due to possible faulty brake lights. All in all, this recall affects 15 different models, all of which are 2020 models and one from 2019 (BMW S 1000 R). Over 4,000 units are potentially affected by this issue related to the sudden flashing of the ‘emergency stop signal’. (more…)
