The 40th Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race will once again see riders and teams from all over the world fighting for one of the greatest motorcycle endurance races of all time from 27 to 30 July 2017.

This year’s race marks the race’s 40th anniversary where three Malaysians will be competing; Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin, current ARRC rider Azlan Shah and 2016 ARRC champion Zaqhwan Zaidi.

Hafizh Syahrin will race together with Team Kagayama on board the Suzuki GSX-R1000, Zaqhwan Zaidi with Team Satu HATI on board the latest Honda CBR1000RR and Azlan Shah will be racing with Team Green and their infamous Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The countdown to the 40th Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race is getting closer and closer. One of the world’s most iconic motorcycle endurance race sponsored by Coca Cola will run its course from 27 July 2017 to 30 July 2017. (more…)

Some folks have been arguing that the latest WorldSBK reverse grid format has not been working out as well as they had hoped it would be.

The plan was to get the podium finishers of Race 1 to start in reverse order from the third row in hopes that they would other riders and teams a fighting chance was doomed from the beginning.

Almost 94% of the podium finishes so far has been filled by Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes from Kawasaki Racing Team together with Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri from Aruba.it Racing – Ducati.

According to a recent report made by MCN, the big guns over at WorldSBK are seriously contemplating on whether to scrap the reverse grid system which was introduced into the race series earlier this year. It seems that the format is not working out as well as they had hoped for. (more…)

Hong Leong Yamaha Motors (HLYM) Malaysia has finally launched the 2017 Yamaha NVX into the Malaysian market.

The Yamaha NVX comes with a number of futuristic specs like a full LED meter panel, start and stop system, Smart Key functionality and a charging socket for mobile devices.

The all-new NVX with EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle) status is priced at RM10,500 (basic price with GST) and will be available in three different colours; Blue, Red and Black.

It has been confirmed that the Ducati V4 superbike will not be going into races until the start of the 2019 season.

Ducati has plans to introduce the bike to the public first for 2018 before further plans and participation in the WorldSBK.

Although there’s no news or information regarding the bike’s specification, the V4-powered production Ducati bike will be introduced at the end of the year during the EICMA show in Milan, Italy.

Ducati has confirmed that their future plans to release their brand new V4-powered superbikes will probably go as planned but they won’t be racing them anytime soon, at least not until 2019. (more…)

Mike Akatiff together with the support from TOP 1 Oil broke the land speed record for the fastest motorcycle in the world back in 2010 with the TOP 1 ACK ATTACK streamliner.

The twin Suzuki Hayabusa powered machine managed to hit over 376mp/h (605km/h) but this year, the team is planning to break the record again by attempting to go over the 400mp/h mark (643km/h).

Mike Akatiff’s team together with TOP 1 Oil will head over to the Salar de Uyuni salt flats near the Andes Mountains from 3 August to 8 August 2017 to achieve what was once impossible.

It was back in 2010 when the world witnessed a motorcycle set the land speed record for the fastest motorcycle on the entire planet. The highly modified twin-engine streamliner dubbed the “TOP 1 ACK ATTACK” shocked the entire world when it hit 605.697km/h. The legendary machine’s record still stood the test of times almost a decade. (more…)

All 2018 BMW Motorrad motorcycles will get some interesting upgrades which includes new colours across all BMW models.

The upgrades are not only in terms of looks like new colours but also optional parts and unique features for individual BMW motorrad bikes.

The biggest highlight other than new colours is the ’emergency call’ button which automatically sends out signal for help in case of any serious crash or accidents.

Calling all BMW Motorrad fans and enthusiasts, the German boys has just announced that their 2018 models will be receiving some interesting new updates which include brand-spanking new colours, options and a few more minor updates to keep things fresh. (more…)
