Several factory teams have extended their offers towards the 31-year-old rider.

Rea is also in talks with his current Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK as his contract ends at the end of the season.

MV Agusta stated that they’ll be stopping the current MV Agusta F4 by the end of 2018.

The next MV Agusta superbike will only come after 2020 where the brand is going to focus on other new four-cylinder models first.

According to MV Agusta CEO, the new superbike will come but it will be a completely new machine instead of the iconic F4.

Hold on to your hats because things are about to get ‘not so good’ for MV Agusta. The Italian premium bike manufacturer is saying goodbye to their MV Agusta F4 superbike.   • Pusingan pembukaan WorldSBK 2018 telah menyaksikan Marco Melandri merangkul kemenangan berganda dalam kedua-dua perlumbaan di Australia.
  • Melandri berjaya menangkis serangan kedua-dua penunggang pasukan Kawasaki Racing Team dalam Perlumbaan 1 dan Perlumbaan 2 untuk memenangi perlumbaan-perlumbaan tersebut.
  • Tom Sykes dan Chaz Davies melengkapkan podium dalam Perlumbaan 1 manakala Jonathan Rea bersama dengan Xavi Fores pula melengkapkan podium bagi Perlumbaan 2.

The first opening WorldSBK round of 2018 saw Marco Melandri took home a double win for both races in Australia.

Melandri managed to fend off both Kawasaki Racing Team riders in Race 1 and Race 2 for the wins.

Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies completed the podium in Race 1 whereas Jonathan Rea together with Xavi Fores completed Race 2.

Those who say that “old dogs can’t learn new tricks” obviously are not into the world of motorcycle racing as 35-year-old Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) won both races in the 2018 WorldSBK opening round at Phillip Island, Australia this past weekend. (more…)

  • Pusingan pembukaan Yamaha Finance Australia telah secara rasminya dilancarkan di Litar Phillip Island Grand Prix.
  • Perlumbaan 1 akan bermula pada hari esok (Sabtu), dari jam 12 tengah hari waktu tempatan, dan Perlumbaan 2 pada hari Ahad pada waktu yang sama.
