Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK riders, Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes, were unable to partake in a test session set in Jerez, Spain yesterday after rain affected the whole thing. The 2021 WorldSBK season will see a lot of changes in how they conduct the races, including the introduction of the long lap penalty, which has been successfully implemented in MotoGP this season. The 2021 WorldSBK provisional calendar has been released where a total of 13 rounds will take place throughout next season. Starting strong in Europe, the closing stages will see three rounds taking place in Indonesia, Australia, and the final round which has yet to be decided. (more…)
