  • Klip berkenaan mempamerkan bagaimana penunggang berusia 30 tahun itu berjaya mencapai kejayaan tersebut dan pada masa yang sama menjaga keluarganya sewaktu sedang menjelajah dan di antara pusingan perlumbaan.

A 45-minute documentary showing the life of Jonathan Rea on how he won three WorldSBK titles was released by BBC.

The clip showcases how the 30 year old has managed to do so while taking care of his family on the road and in between rounds.

Rea is the only WorldSBK rider so far to have won three WorldSBK championships in a row.

BBC has just released a 45-minute documentary on the 2017 WorldSBK World Champion, Jonathan Rea. Dubbed “3 in a Row”, the clip shows how the 30 year old from Northern Ireland managed to win three FIM Superbike World Championships in a row while maintaining his status as a loyal husband and caring father of two lovely children.   • Ianya telah diumumkan pada awal hari semalam yang penunggang WorldSBK, Marco Melandri akan meneruskan lagi kerjaya perlumbaannya dengan pasukan Aruba.it Racing Ducati untuk satu musim lagi pada tahun 2018.
  • Penunggang berusia 35 tahun dari Itali itu telah membuktikan kemampuannya sebagai penunggang di atas jentera Ducati 1199 Panigale R dengan penamat di atas podium yang konsisten serta dengan satu kemenangan perlumbaan pada musim ini.
  • Melandri kini sedang menduduki tempat ke-empat pada tangga kejuaraan WorldSBK 2017 dengan 189 mata; hanya 37 mata di belakang teman sepasukannya, Chaz Davies.

It was announced earlier today that WorldSBK rider Marco Melandri will continue his racing efforts with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati outfit for yet another season in 2018.

The 35 year old Italian has proven himself to be quite a rider on board the Ducati 1199 Panigale R with consistent podium finishes and even a race win this season.

Melandri currently sits fourth in the 2017 WorldSBK championship standings with 189 points; just 37 points behind his team mate, Chaz Davies.

Good news from the world of WorldSBK! It seems that the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team has decided to continue with the legendary Italian rider Marco Melandri for yet another season. Melandri will stick with Chaz Davies for the 2018 Superbike World Championship. (more…)

 

  • Sesetengah pihak telah mengatakan bahawa format grid terbalik yang terkini dalam WorldSBK tidak membuahkan hasil seperti apa yang telah diharapkan.
  • Rancangannya adalah untuk meletakkan para penamat di atas podium bagi Perlumbaan 1 dalam kedudukan terbalik dari baris yang ketiga dengan harapan yang ianya akan memberikan peluang kepada pasukan dan penunggang namun ianya tidak berjaya.

Some folks have been arguing that the latest WorldSBK reverse grid format has not been working out as well as they had hoped it would be.

The plan was to get the podium finishers of Race 1 to start in reverse order from the third row in hopes that they would other riders and teams a fighting chance was doomed from the beginning.

Almost 94% of the podium finishes so far has been filled by Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes from Kawasaki Racing Team together with Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri from Aruba.it Racing – Ducati.

According to a recent report made by MCN, the big guns over at WorldSBK are seriously contemplating on whether to scrap the reverse grid system which was introduced into the race series earlier this year. It seems that the format is not working out as well as they had hoped for. (more…)

It was a great day filled with drama and events especially for WorldSBK rider Jonathan Rea in Round Two of the 2017 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship. After finishing on top in Race 1 yesterday, the Kawasaki Racing Team rider continued his assault with another victory in Race 2 making a total of four straight victories for the 30 year old Brit rider. With a win in Race 1, Rea looked to have a challenge laid out for him with the new race format. The new ruling meant that Rea had to start the second race from the back of the third row in P9 but that did not stop him from being victorious. The top spot was fought viciously between four riders; Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team), Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing) together with Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team). The win also marked Rea’s 40th career victory in WorldSBK. (more…)

It was a brilliant season opener for the 2017 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship with Jonathan Rea from Kawasaki Racing Team winning the first race at Phillip Island. Rea won the race from pole position but not without a few great fights from a number of different riders. Chaz Davies came in strong in second with just 0.042 seconds between him and Rea. The other Kawasaki Racing team rider and Rea’s team mate, Tom Sykes, completed the podium in third place. (more…)
