Current Aprilia MotoGP factory rider Sam Lowes is said to have signed a contract that will see him return to the Moto2 intermediate class in 2018.

Lowes will race with the CarXpert Interwetten Moto2 outfit after coming to an agreement during the British GP this past weekend.

Current CarXpert Interwetten rider Thomas Lüthi will move up to MotoGP next year to join the Marc VDS squad with Franco Morbidelli.

With all the 2018 MotoGP seats getting filled up, it seems that current Aprilia Racing Team Gresini rider Sam Lowes has confirmed that he’ll be rejoining the Moto2 intermediate class for the upcoming season. (more…)

The 2018 MotoGP seats for the Avintia Reale Ducati team are still up for grabs considering that they’ve not confirm any riders yet.

Current riders Loris Baz and Hector Barbera are said not to be continuing their race efforts with the Avintia Ducati outfit for next year.

Rumours points towards Tito Rabat who is said will bring in his own personal sponsorship of around €1 million (around RM 5 million) to get into the 2018 MotoGP Ducati hot seat.

We all know that all the MotoGP seats for 2018 are fast getting filled in with more riders being announced as of late. The latest would be the controversial signing of Scott Redding to race with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini outfit in replacement of the outgoing Sam Lowes. (more…)

News broke out in the MotoGP paddocks regarding Scott Redding finally signing a deal with the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini for the 2018 season.

The Italian factory squad has not made the official announcement yet but it seems that Redding will be replacing current Aprilia rider Sam Lowes.

The news seems to bring in mixed emotions with a lot of famous racing figures like Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea showing their support for Lowes via social media sites.

According to a very recent article posted by MCN, it looks like current Pramac Ducati MotoGP rider Scott Redding has finally inked a deal with the Aprilia factory squad. Pramac Ducati has announced that their 2018 MotoGP season will see Jack Miller as one of their riders.

Together with current rider Danilo Petrucci, both riders will pilot the Ducati Desmosedici GP17 next year.

The Pramac offer was on the table for Miller for quite some time but he only confirmed it now as the 22 year old Aussie couldn’t strike a suitable deal with his current Marc VDS squad and HRC.

The Pramac Ducati MotoGP squad has recently announced that Jack Miller will be racing for them in the 2018 season. For the first time in his racing career, Miller will be riding the Ducati Desmosedici race machine alongside his confirmed team mate, Danilo Petrucci. (more…)

Danilo Petrucci (OCTO Pramac Racing) was given the chance to pilot the latest Desmosedici GP17 but at the same time help develop a new Ducati MotoGP engine.

No specific details were given on the new engine but Petrucci stated that the engine will be given back to the factory team once they’re done with all of the tests.

Petrucci also commented that the engine has roughly the same power as the current GP17 engine except for a few parts; most probably throttle body, exhaust, etc.

OCTO Pramac Racing MotoGP rider Danilo Petrucci is currently developing a brand new engine to be used on the Ducati Desmosedici GP17. The OCTO Pramac racing team was given the latest Ducati MotoGP machinery with the condition of assisting in developing and testing new parts before handing the information back over to the factory team.
