MotoGP 2020

Throughout the three days of winter testing last weekend during the official Sepang MotoGP Test, one particular manufacturer has been popping up quite fast to the top of the timesheets early in the day. The KTM RC16 ridden by Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargaro set the trend for the fastest lap times before noon hits and that says a lot about what the factory has to offer for the 2020 season. (more…)

The 2020 Sepang MotoGP Test aka “Winter Test” concluded its three-day stint here at Sepang International Circuit and we can conclude from it is that Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) was the fastest rider in all three days of testing. (more…)

Day 2 of the 2020 Sepang MotoGP Test aka “Winter Test” saw Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) storming to the top of the timesheets late in the day with a blistering pace of 1:58.572. The young Frenchman was 0.373 seconds faster today compared to his run in Day 1 after having completed a total of 72 laps in Day 2 of testing. (more…)

The Petronas Yamaha SRT squad went out hard during the first day of the MotoGP Sepang Test aka “Winter Test” today by clocking the fastest times. With Quartararo riding the factory-spec Yamaha M1 and Morbidelli on board the ‘A-spec’ machinery, they were the only ones who managed to break into the 1 minute 58 seconds barrier at Sepang International Circuit. Yesterday was filled with MotoGP livery unveilings, including the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP factory squad. Both Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi uncovered the 2020 Yamaha YZR-M1 carrying more or less similar graphics from 2019 but with more emphasis on their main sponsor, Monster Energy. (more…)

When it comes to MotoGP factory team liveries, Team Suzuki Ecstar probably has the best looking one for the 2020 season as they’re the only one so far who introduced a brand-new fresh look as compared to Repsol Honda, Monster Energy Yamaha, and Ducati. (more…)

The Marquez brothers, Marc and Alex, presented their latest Repsol Honda livery for the MotoGP 2020 season. The event which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, showcased the 2019 MotoGP and Moto2 World Champions in the iconic Repsol Honda colours where fans and enthusiasts associate as the colour of champions. The first sessions of the MotoGP Sepang shakedown test have begun, and the internet is already buzzing with photos of the 2020 Aprilia RS-GP MotoGP bike debuting here in Malaysia. The Italian manufacturer is looking to stir things up with a host of upgrades and changes which will hopefully see them higher up the grid in the upcoming season. (more…)

Yamaha’s MotoGP prodigal son has returned. Jorge Lorenzo will return the Yamaha factory team in 2020 as part of the Yamaha Factory Racing Test Team. After the big news of Maverick Vinales extending his contract with the Yamaha factory MotoGP squad until the end of 2022, Fabio Quartararo announced that he will be joining Vinales on board the full factory Yamaha YZR-M1 in 2021 and 2022. (more…)

The pre-season MotoGP test session is not for another week and already Maverick Vinales is the first to strike a deal with Yamaha which will see the young Spaniard racing for the factory squad until the end of 2022.

This newly signed agreement confirms that Yamaha is confident with Maverick Vinales and his abilities to carry them forward not only the upcoming seasons but also be the front runner is winning back the championship and developing the ever-growing Yamaha YZR-M1. (more…)
