It was a historic moment for Suzuki in MotoGP yesterday as both of the Suzuki Ecstar riders, Joan Mir and Alex Rins, secured a 1-2 finish at the European GP in Valencia, Spain. Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) will start this Sunday’s race from pitlane no matter how good he performs in today’s qualifying sessions. Why? The Gran Premio de Teruel MotoGP round in Aragon, Spain yesterday witnessed Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) taking home his second ever premier class victory and with stunning fashion. Nine-time MotoGP world champion, Valentino Rossi, will miss this week’s Aragon GP and most likely the next round at the same venue after testing positive for COVID-19.
