MotoGP: Repsol Honda testing CARBON FIBRE swingarm?

The Repsol Honda MotoGP team has been testing a brand new carbon fibre swingarm for their 2018 Honda RC213V.

Their entire 2018 package plus new swingarm seems to be working for both Marquez and Pedrosa.

Pedrosa set the fastest ever motorcycle lap around Buriram International Circuit on the final day of the Thai pre-season testing.

Sharp eyes in the MotoGP garage have spotted something quite different on the Honda RC213V used by the Repsol Honda boys during the three-day testing in Thailand. It seemed that the factory Honda squad are experimenting with a full carbon fibre swingarm at the Buriram International Circuit and even during the Sepang winter test here in Malaysia a few weeks back. Betul Ke Hafizh Syahrin Penunggang MotoGP Malaysia Yang Pertama?

Ada sesetengah pihak telah bertanya, adakah Hafizh Syahrin penunggang MotoGP Malaysia yang pertama.
Selepas selesainya sesi ujian MotoGP di Thailand, kita tidak boleh nafikan lagi yang Hafizh adalah penunggang dari Malaysia yang pertama mengemudi motosikal MotoGP 1,000cc era moden ini.
Pengesahan muktamad akan datang dari pasukan Monster Yamaha Tech3 sama ada Hafizh Syahrin akan menjadi penunggang MotoGP kelahiran Malaysia pertama yang akan bertanding dalam kelas premier pada musim ini.

Is Hafizh Syahrin really the first Malaysian MotoGP rider?

Some folks have been asking about Hafizh Syahrin being the first Malaysian MotoGP rider.

After the MotoGP Thai test, it can be safely said that Hafizh is the first Malaysian to ride a modern-day 1,000cc MotoGP bike.

The final confirmation will come from Monster Yamaha Tech3 on whether Hafizh Syahrin will become the first Malaysian MotoGP rider to race in the premier class this season.

It has been quite an amazing week for all Malaysians as Hafizh Syahrin was selected to join the MotoGP pre-season testing at the Buriram International Circuit. Riding the Yamaha M1 for the Monster Yamaha Tech3 squad, Hafizh Syahrin ultimately became the first ever South East Asian rider to ride a proper 1,000cc modern day MotoGP bike. (more…)

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) telah menetapkan catatan masa yang terpantas di Litar Antarabangsa Buriram sewaktu sesi ujian tiga hari MotoGP di Thailand.
Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech3) tidak ketinggalan jauh di atas jentera Yamaha M1-nya.
Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) menduduki tangga ketiga setelah menyempurnakan lebih daripada 300 pusingan di Litar Antarabangsa Buriram.

MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa conquers Thai Test!

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) set the fastest lap ever around Buriram during the three-day MotoGP Thai test.

Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech3) was not too far off on board his developed Yamaha M1.

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) settled for third after having completed over 300 laps around the Buriram International Circuit.

After the concluding their first ever maiden MotoGP pre-season testing in Thailand, the entire MotoGP field are now well aware of the what the Buriram International Circuit has to offer. The rider that gained the most advantage was none other than Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda. (more…)

MotoGP: Marquez Tetapkan Masa Terpantas Di Buriram pada Hari 2

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) telah menyambut hari lahirnya yang ke-25 dengan penuh bergaya sekali semalam dengan mencipta rekod catatan masa terpantas di Buriram.
Dani Pedrosa tidak jauh ketinggalan di belakang, berada di kedudukan P2 dengan catatan masa 1:30.127.
Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing) terus mengagumkan semua orang dengan mencatatkan masa pusingan ketiga terpantas pada hari tersebut di atas jentera Ducatinya.

MotoGP: Hafizh Syahrin Gembira Dengan Kemajuan Hari Pertama

Ujian kali pertama di atas jentera Yamaha M1 untuk Hafizh Syahrin ternyata menunjukkan kemajuan yang ketara pada Ujian Buriram MotoGP 2018.
Walaupun berada di kedudukan terakhir, penunggang bagi pasukan Monster Yamaha Tech3 itu hanya berada 0.4 saat di belakang seorang lagi penunggang ‘rookie’, Tom Luthi (Marc VDS).
Hafizh Syahrin adalah penunggang Malaysia pertama yang mengemudi jentera MotoGP zaman moden.

MotoGP: Marquez sets fastest lap yet in Buriram on Day 2

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) celebrated his 25^th birthday with style yesterday after setting the fastest ever lap time in Buriram.

Dani Pedrosa was not too far behind sitting at P2 with a 1:30.127.

Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing) continues to impress everyone by setting the third fastest lap of the day with his Ducati.

The second day of the MotoGP 2018 pre-season test in Buriram saw a mixture of results but the boys from Repsol Honda sealed the deal by setting the fastest times of the day. Marc Marquez celebrated his 25^th birthday in style by being the first rider ever to lap the Buriram International Circuit below 1 minute 30 seconds at 1:29.969. (more…)

MotoGP: Hafizh Syahrin happy with first day progress

The first ever outing on the Yamaha M1 for Hafizh Syahrin proved to be quite a progress in the first day of the MotoGP Buriram Test 2018.

Despite finishing last, the Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider was only 0.4 seconds behind another rookie, Tom Luthi (Marc VDS).

Hafizh Syahrin is the first Malaysian ever to ride a modern day MotoGP bike.

The last minute replacement for the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team that is our very own Hafizh Syahrin seems quite happy with his performance in the first day of the Thailand pre-season testing. Held at the Buriram International Circuit, Hafizh has become the first South East Asian rider to ride a modern day MotoGP bike. (more…)

MotoGP: Randy Mamola Yang Terkini Dinamakan Sebagai Legenda MotoGP!

Randy Mamola telah menjadi penunggang terbaru yang akan dianugerahkan dengan gelaran Legenda MotoGP.
Pelumba Amerika Syarikat berusia 58 tahun telah dikenali sebagai penunggang paling berjaya yang tidak pernah memenangi sebarang kejohanan.
Sepanjang penyertaannya dalam perlumbaan MotoGP, dia telah berjaya merangkul 13 kemenangan perlumbaan dan 57 penamat di atas podium yang lain.

MotoGP: Randy Mamola named the latest MotoGP Legend!

Randy Mamola is the latest person to be awarded with the title of MotoGP Legend.

The 58 year old American racer is known as one of the most successful riders who has never won a championship.

In his active years of racing in MotoGP, he managed to win 13 races and 57 other podium finishes.

Being awarded with the title of MotoGP Legend is indeed quite a big deal for anyone in the motorcycle racing industry. With only 25 riders listed, the latest figure to be enrolled in such a prestigious award is none other than Randy Mamola. (more…)
