Triumph Motorcycles sees sales growth in 2017 – Over 63,000 sold!

For 2017, Triumph Motorcycles sold over 63,000 motorcycles from their dealerships around the globe.

63,404 units were sold which translates to £498.5 million (RM2.7 billion) in sales revenue.

Triumph made £24.7 million (RM134 million) in profits which is a 48% increase thanks to a 22% rise in sales worldwide.

With the current standpoint of the world’s ever fluctuating market for motorcycles, Triumph Motorcycles was proud to announce that they have seen a growth in sales for 2017 despite the economic conditions in which some other manufacturers experienced a significant drop. (more…)

Penunggang Terbaik Tahun 2017 BR/MM: Johann Zarco

Melihat kembali pada musim MotoGP 2017, Johann Zarco mengungguli senarai kami sebagai ‘Penunggang Terbaik Tahun 2017’.
Setelah memenangi 2 kejuaraan Moto2 secara berturut-turut, penunggang muda kelahiran Perancis itu telah berpindah ke kelas MotoGP sebagai seorang penunggang rookie, tetapi, telah menunggang seperti seorang penunggang amat berpengalaman yang sedang mengejar takhta kejohanan.
Secara keseluruhannya, dia telah menamatkan musim itu dengan tiga penamat di atas podium, 174 mata, dan gelaran “MotoGP 2017 Rookie of the Year”.

BR’s Rider of the Year 2017: Johann Zarco

Looking back at the 2017 MotoGP season, Johann Zarco topped our list for ‘Rider of the Year’.

After winning two Moto2 titles back to back, the young Frenchman moved up to MotoGP as a rookie but rode like a seasoned veteran chasing the championship.

All in all, he finished the season with three podiums, 174 points and the title “MotoGP 2017 Rookie of the Year”.

The 2017 MotoGP season has been nothing but breathtaking ever since the very beginning where the season started off under the floodlights of Qatar. Apart from a few monumental shifts in the series such as the great Jorge Lorenzo converting over to the scarlet red Ducati team and Maverick Vinales taking his place in Movistar Yamaha, there were a few more unexpected surprises thrown into the mix. Petronas TIDAK Akan Menaja Hafizh Syahrin Untuk Moto2 Musim 2018

Pegawai SIC telah mengumumkan bahawa Petronas tidak akan menaja Hafizh Syahrin untuk Moto2 musim 2018.
Desas desus itu akhirnya telah disahkan lewat semalam tetapi SIC juga telah mengatakan bahawa penunggang berusia 23 tahun itu akan masih berlumba pada tahun 2018 bagi sebuah pasukan Moto2 SIC yang baru ditubuhkan.
Petronas hanya akan menaja penunggang Moto3 pada musim hadapan di bawah pasukan Petronas Sprinta Racing, iaitu Adam Norrodin dan Ayamu Sasaki.

Petronas will NOT sponsor Hafizh Syahrin for Moto2 2018

SIC officials have announced that Petronas will not sponsor Hafizh Syahrin for Moto2 in the 2018 season.

The rumours were finally confirmed late yesterday but SIC also stated that the 23 year old will still race in 2018 under a newly-formed Moto2 team under SIC.

Petronas will only support the Moto3 riders next season under the Petronas Sprinta Racing team which are Adam Norrodin and Ayumu Sasaki.

The rumours that have been going around for quite some time are finally confirmed late yesterday when Petronas announced that they will not be sponsoring national rider Hafizh Syahrin to continue his Moto2 efforts in 2018. (more…)

Moto2: Suter Tarik Diri Dari Musim 2018

Pengeluar casis dari Switzerland, Suter, telah memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri dari kejohanan dunia Moto2 2018.
Daripada 24 buah pasukan yang ada di atas grid, hanya satu sahaja yang akan menggunakan casis mereka untuk musim yang akan datang iaitu Dynavolt Intact Team.
Suter akan berehat dari pertandingan bagi menumpukan perhatian pada pembinaan casis generasi yang berikutnya bagi disuaikan dengan pertukaran enjin 765cc Triumph yang baru yang bakal tiba pada tahun 2019.

Moto2: Suter withdraws from 2018 season

Swiss chassis manufacturer Suter has decided to step away from the 2018 Moto2 world championship.

Out of 24 teams on the grid, only one wanted to use their chassis for the upcoming season with was the Dynavolt Intact Team.

Suter will take a break from competition to focus on building their next generation chassis to accommodate the new Triumph 765cc engine change coming in 2019.

After the realization that only one out of 24 teams who decided to use the chassis made by the Swiss manufacturer for 2018, Suter decided that to completely pull out for the 2018 Moto2 world championship altogether. This is due to the fact that they see no sense in continuing their efforts for now as it can’t have any commercial benefit to the company. (more…)

Moto2 Miguel Oliveira Menggondoli Kemenangan Perlumbaan Ketiga Musim Ini Buat KTM

Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) telah membolot kemenangan perlumbaan ketiga buat KTM bagi musim 2017 ini dengan kemenangan terkini mereka di Valencia.
Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) sekadar berpuas hati di tempat ke-dua selepas bergelut dengan cengkaman tayar pada penghujung perlumbaan.
Teman sepasukan Oliveira, Brad Binder, beraksi dengan cemerlang sekali apabila dia menamatkan perlumbaannya di tempat ke-tiga setelah bergelut dengan masalah penukaran gear dalam beberapa pusingan pertama perlumbaan berkenaan.

Moto2: Miguel Oliveira scores third race victory of the season for KTM

Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) gave KTM their third ever race victory for 2017 with their latest win in Valencia.

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) settled for second after struggling for tyre grip towards the end of the race.

Oliveira’s team mate, Brad Binder, recovered brilliantly by finishing in third after struggling with gear shifts in the first few opening laps.

The Red Bull KTM Ajo squad closed off their 2017 Moto2 efforts with a bang thanks to Miguel Oliveira who finished the last race of the season with a super race win. Starting from fourth position, the 22 year old rider from Portugal has awarded KTM with three race victories in their first ever year in the Moto2 race series. (more…)

MotoGP mania – Sebab-Sebab Mengapa Pusingan MotoGP Malaysia Antara Yang Terbaik

Kita semakin menghampiri penghujung musim MotoGP 2017, dan pusingan kedua terakhir iaitu Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix sudah pasti telah memberikan keseronokan yang tidak terhingga kepada mereka yang menghadirinya. Setelah mendapat status sebagai salah sebuah litar yang paling mencabar dalam kalendar MotoGP, Litar Antarabangsa Sepang sentiasa bersedia untuk memberi cabaran tambahan dengan cuaca yang tidak menentu.

Moto2: Morbidelli Dinobatkan Juara Dunia Moto2 2017!

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) telah memenangi takhta Juara Dunia Moto2 2017 selepas Thomas Luthi diisytiharkan tidak cergas akibat keretakan pada buku lalinya.
Penunggang bagi pasukan KTM Red Bull, Miguel Oliveira dan Brad Binder sekali lagi meraikan penamat satu-dua di atas dengan Morbidelli melengkapkan tempat terakhir di atas podium.
Morbidelli dan Luthi bakal berpindah ke MotoGP pada musim akan datang, menjadi teman sepasukan di pasukan Marc VDS.

Moto2: Morbidelli becomes the 2017 Moto2 World Champion!

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) has won the 2017 Moto2 World Champion after Thomas Luthi was declared unfit due to a fractured ankle.

Red Bull KTM riders Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder celebrated yet another one-two finish with Morbidelli completing the final podium spot.

Morbidelli and Luthi will graduate to MotoGP next season in the same Marc VDS team.

The scene could not have been more dramatic during the Shell Malaysia MotoGP round at the Sepang International Circuit. All weekend, the Moto2 riders have gone through severe heat to sudden bursts of rain to keep them on their toes. None more so than the two riders who were fighting for the 2017 Moto2 championship, Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) and Thomas Luthi (CarXpert Interwetten). (more…)
