Dua Warna Baharu untuk Honda Rebel (2024)

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (BSH) telah mengumumkan dua warna baharu tambahan untuk Honda Rebel (2024) yang juga dikenali sebagai CMX500. Warna-warna baharu itu digelar Mat Laurel Green Metallic dan Seal Silver Metallic. Ini menjadikan pilihan warna yang ada kepada tiga, termasuk Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic yang sedia ada.

Ciri-ciri

Enjinnya kekal tidak disentuh, justeru ia masih 471cc, penyejuk cecair, berkembar selari yang memberikan 43Nm tork pada 6,500 RPM dan 34kW (45.6hp) kuasa maksimum pada 8,500 RPM.

Sudah tentunya sistem bahanapi enjin ini merupakan PGM-FI (Suntikan Bahan Api Terprogram) Honda yang telah lama wujud. Pengilang berkata ia membantu menjimatkan bahanapi, dan mengurangkan pelepasan, antara beberapa faedah lain.

Sesuai dengan peranannya sebagai motosikal cruiser, enjinnya ditala untuk tork yang kuat pada RPM rendah dan sederhana, bukannya untuk kuasa maksimum.
Pencahayaan LED keseluruhannya, termasuk lampu depan yang bulat.

ABS dwi-saluran (depan dan belakang) sebagai ciri standard.
Meter kelajuan ditetapkan dalam dail 100mm dengan paparan LCD negatif dan lampu latar putih yang memaparkan kedudukan gear dan penggunaan bahan api.

Tangki minyak jenis ‘peanut‘ memuatkan 11.2 liter petrol.

New Colours for 2024 Honda Rebel

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (BSH) has announced two additional new colours for the 2024 Honda Rebel (also known as the CMX500) called Mat Laurel Green Metallic and Seal Silver Metallic. This brings the available colour options to three, including the existing Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic.

Highlights

The engine remains untouched, hence it is still the 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin which delivers 43Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM and 34kW (45.6hp) of maximum power at 8,500 RPM.

It is of course fed by Honda’s long-standing PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system, which the manufacturer says helps to save fuel, and reduce emissions, among several other benefits.

The powerplant is tuned for strong low and midrange torque, instead of maximum power befitting its cruiser role.
All-around LED lighting, with a round headlight.

Dual channel ABS as a standard feature.
The speedometer is set in a 100mm dial with a negative LCD display and white backlight which displays gear position and fuel consumption.

The “peanut” tank holds 11.2 litres of fuel.

The 2024 Honda Rebel sells from RM33,899 excluding road tax, insurance, and registration. It is now available at all Honda BigWing dealers now.

2023 Honda Rebel 1100T Breaks Cover

Honda officially expand the Rebel 1100 range with a new bagger variant that adds a fork-mounted fairing and color-matched hard panniers for 2023.

Honda Rebel 1100T joins the Rebel lineup for 2023.
Features similar specification with the base Rebel including cruise control, 16.3L fuel tank and Showa rear shocks.

Typically, the fairing is an added protection against road elements including the wind and debris while the lockable saddlebags adds 35L of storage.

Despite the ‘touring packge’, the Rebel 1100T still feature the same 16.3L of fuel tank as the base Rebel. Hence, we expect the same 240km of range.

Also the additional storage adds to the bike’s overall weight to 245kg for DCT model , that’s 14kg more than the standard Rebel.

Mechanically, the Rebel 1100T is pretty much similar to the Rebel 1100 DCT, including the same 1083cc parallel-twin engine derived from the Arica Twin and NT1100 that makes 86hp and 97Nm.

The Rebel 1100T is suspended by a telescopic fork at the front with 140mm of travel and dual Showa rear shocks with adjustable preload and 93mm of travel.

Braking is done by a four-pot radial-mount hydraulic callipers with 330mm floating rotors at the front and a single-piston callipers with 258mm disc at the rear.

Also similar to the standard model, braking is regulated by a dual-channel ABS that comes as standard including traction control, wheelie control, engine braking control, cruise control and three riding modes.

The Rebel 1100T is available in two colourways, Metallic Black and Bordeaux Red Metallic.

Honda Rebel And Gold Wing Range Gets New Colour Update For 2022

A few Honda big bike ranges get a new splash of paint for 2022, including the Rebel 500, Rebel 1100 and GL1800 Gold Wing.

Honda GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour

The 7-speed DCT version of the Gold Wing Tour now features vibrant Glint Wave Blue Metallic and Pearl Glare White for 2022, joining the already available Gunmetal Black Metallic.

Meanwhile, the 6-speed manual Gold Wing Tour that is available only in Gunmetal Black Metallic now comes with a new blacked-out engine.

The DCT-only GL1800 Gold Wing is now available in a new Mat Jeans Blue Metallic.

Honda Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100

Since its introduction in 2017, the CMX500 Rebel is currently the best-selling custom motorcycle in Europe, with 33% are female riders.

For 2022, the Rebel 500 now features a brand-new Pearl Organic Green.

Its bigger siblings, the CMX1100 Rebel, get Pearl Stallion Brown colour scheme, joining the already available Gunmetal Black Metallic.

Nonetheless, the Rebel 500 continues to offer the same specifications, including assist/slipper clutch, LED lighting, and gear position indicator.

Paten Honda Rebel Dengan Enjin 1100cc Didedahkan – Dengan DCT!

Pada Mac lalu,terdapat dakwaan bahawa Honda dalam perancangan menghasilkan Rebel versi 1100cc.

Honda Rebel itu dicanang mengguna pakai enjin CRF1100L Africa Twin seperti yang dilaporan media Jepun, Young Machine.

*Seperti biasa jika laporanya itu datang dari Young Machine, maknananya kami perlu ambil serius dakwaan tersebut.

Selang beberapa bulan, dakwaan itu kini selangkah untuk menjadi realiti apabila Honda memfailkan paten yang memaparkan Rebel dengan enjin parallel-twin 1100cc!

Berdasarkan paten terbabit, rupa enjin tersebut sememangnya menyamai enjin parallel-twin yang terdapat pada CRF1100L Africa Twin.

Namun apa yang mencuri tumpuan, paten tersebut turut menunjukkan ketiadaan lever klac sekaligus menandakan Rebel 1100 ini akan dilengkapi transmisi DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) seperti yang terdapat pada Africa Twin.

Menurut laporan Motorcycle.com, Honda Rebel 1100 ini mungkin akan dilancarkan lebih awal dari jangkaan.

Ketika ini, Honda hanya menawarkan Rebel dengan enjin 471cc parallel-twin (EURO4) yang menawarkan 45.9hp pada 8,500rpm dan 43Nm pada 6,500rpm.

2020 Honda Rebel — More Refinements

The 2020 Honda Rebel is further refined.
More contemporary features are added included LED lighting and slipper clutch.
The engine is tuned for punchy torque but linear power delivery.

The 2020 Honda Rebel was made its European debut, with more refinements aimed to give the rider better comfort, among other things.

In making the 2020 Rebel Euro5 compliant, Honda looked at a great deal of features, also. A higher S-spec version features headlight cowl, all-black fork covers and gaiters, and a diamond-stitch style seat.

Honda aims the Rebel at younger riders who want a more laid-back motorcycle that’s easy to ride, has low maintenance yet with plenty of modern features. But it should also appeal to those who want cruisers that are not of the mainstream with its lean and low stripped, bobber styling, including a 11.2-litre fuel tank.

The 471cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel-Twin engine was adapted from the CBR500R and produces strong bottom-end torque and smooth power delivery that’s less intimidating to new and casual riders. It produces 45.6 bhp (34 kW) at 8,500 RPM and 43.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM.

Other features include revised suspension, full-LED lighting including the turnsignals, gear position indicator, more comfortable seat and a slipper clutch.

The passenger seat and footrests can be easily detached for a more custom look (or to convince your other half that you’ll be riding alone).

With sexy looks and decent performance, the Rebel 500 is good for looking great on the way to work or a relaxing ride on the weekends.

Priced at RM31,798.94, it’s not perfect but it is by far one of the most interesting bikes to buy right now.

In this day and age, more and more folks are looking into getting their very own two-wheeler for a number of different reasons.
