BSH Announces New Colour Option For Honda CBR250RR & Rebel 500

Boon Siew Honda has updated the Honda CBR250RR and Rebel 500 with new colour options for 2022.

The quarter-litre sports bike is now available in Honda’s Trico colour scheme which replaces the Winning Red colour variants from the 2020 model.

The new Trico Edition features a combination of red and blue that resembles the colours available on the Honda CBR1000RR-R and CBR600RR.

Nevertheless, the bike retained its 249.7cc two-cylinder engine that makes 40hp @ 13,000rpma and 25Nm @ 11,000rpm.

Despite the new colour option which includes the already available Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, the Trico Edition still maintain the same RM25,999 price tag.

Meanwhile, the Rebel 500 now features a new Pearl Organic Green paint scheme joining the already available Matte Jeans Blue Metallic and Graphite Black.

Priced at RM32,899, the entry-level cruiser makes 45hp @ 8,500rpm and 43.3Nm @ 6,000rpm from its 471cc parallel-twin engine.

Honda Rebel 1100 Dalam Pembikinan?

Ketika Honda Rebel 500 dilancarkan di Malaysia tiga tahun lalu, jentera itu mencuri perhatian tatkala menawarkan motosikal segmen pertengahan berkonsepkan bobber.

Meskipun tidak sepopular jentera 500cc lain terutamanya CB500X namun menariknya, Rebel 500 masih menawarkan ciri praktikal.

Selepas tiga tahun, tiada model dikemaskini yang ditawarkan Honda bagi Rebel 500 kecuali memperkenalkan warna baharu pada hujung 2018.

Sehingga kini Rebel 500 hanya melakar nama selaku jentera segmen pertengahan namun segalanya mungkin berubah.

Menurut laporan YoungMachine, Honda bakal melancarkan sebuah motosikal cruiser berasaskan enjin 1100cc Africa Twin.

Jika YoungMachine mendedahkan Honda menghasilkan Africa Twin CRF1100L enam bulan sebelum pelancaran ini bermakna info yang disampaikan kali ini boleh dianggap sahih.

Malah, paten jentera terbabit turut dikongsikan dan jelas kelihatan enjin parallel-twin sepertimana yang terdapat pada Africa Twin.

Sudah pasti, perbezaan paling ketara adalah rangka jentera yang dipaparkan, meskipun tidaklah menyerupai Rebel 500 namun hampir pasti terarah kepada sebuah model cruiser.

The Honda Rebel 500 is a lightweight cruiser.
The engine is punchy and smooth, making the bike accessible to most riders.
Boon Siew Honda has introduced two new colours to the range.

The 2018 Honda Rebel 500 lightweight cruiser gets new colours, as announced by Boon Siew Honda.

The Rebel 500 made its debut in Malaysia in 2017. Many have taken a liking to it since then. Priced from just RM 32,399.00, it represents a great value for money.

It is a good-looking bike by any account. Styled like a bobber with a wide front wheel, owners can look forward to customizing it to their hearts’ content. The 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-Twin engine provides punchy torque yet linear in its response.

Being small in size also means the bike is accessible to a wide variety of riders. The Rebel 500 features a seat height of only 690mm and a kerb weight of just 191 kg.

Front and rear disc brakes take care of braking duties. The rear Showa shocks are adjustable for two-step preload.

Boon Siew Honda have added new colours to the 2018 Honda Rebel 500 range. The new colours are Matt Axis Grey and Pearl Cadet Grey. The existing Graphite Black and Millennium Red are retained.

The new colours are available from December 2018 onwards at all Honda Big Wing dealers.

Boon Siew Honda Pratonton Tiga Model Baru Akan Datang – Rebel 500, CRF250L & CRF250 Rally

Boon Siew Honda telah membuat pratonton beberapa motosikal yang cukup mengujakan semalam, termasuk Rebel 500, CRF250L, dan CRF250 Rally 2017.
Tambahan terbaru ini telah dipratontonkan bersama beberapa model yang diperkemaskini seperti skuter NSS300, CBR250R, dan rangkaian 500cc dan 650.
