Ducati Owners Club Malaysia

Ducati Owners Club Malaysia (DOCM) telah pun menyempurnakan Mesyuarat Tahunan Kali Ke-5 yang diadakan di Hotel Movenpick, Sepang.

Mesyuarat Tahunan DOCM 2022 itu dianjurkan ahli DOCM dengan kerjasama Ducati Malaysia dan beberapa rakan sama lain termasuk Monster Energy, Shell dan Allianz.

Turut hadir di acara tersebut adalah Pengurus Besar Next Bike Sdn Bhd (Ducati Malaysia), Dennis Michael.

Selain daripada pemilihan ahli jawatankuasa baharu bagi tahun 2022, mesyuarat tersebut juga menyaksikan perhimpunan terbesasr pemilik motosikal Ducati di Malaysia.

Menurut Ducati Malaysia, lebih 450 Ducatisti telah berkumpul di Sepang hasil sokongan padu daripada Ducati Hyper Club Malaysia, Panigale Kingdom, Ducati All-Monster Malaysia dan Ducati Multistrada Club Malaysia.

Sewaktu acara tersebut, DOCM juga telah dinamakan sebagai komuniti rasmi Ducati di Malaysia di samping memperkenalkan logo DOCM terbaru.

Sementara itu, bagi mengukuhkan komuniti Ducati di Malaysia, Ducati Malaysia turut menyampaikan sumbangan berbentuk cek berjumlah RM30,000.

Ducati Owners Club Malaysia (DOCM) recently concluded its 5th Annual General Meeting 2022 held at the Movenpick Hotel and Convention Centre, Sepang.

The 5th DOCM Annual General Meeting was organized by DOCM members in partnership with Ducati Malaysia and various partners, including Monster Energy, Shell and Allianz.

Also present at the meeting, Next Bike Sdn Bhd Head of Company, Dennis Michael.

Apart from selecting a new committee members for 2022, the Annual General Meeting also witness the largest Ducatisti gathering in Malaysia.

According to Ducati Malaysia, over 450 Ducatisti had gathered at Sepang thanks to the unwavering support from Ducati Hyper Club Malaysia, Panigale Kingdom, Ducati All-Monster Malaysia and Ducati Multistrada Club Malaysia.

During the gathering, DOCM has also been named as the official Ducati community representing Malayisa along with the unveiling of a new DOCM logo.

To help strengthen the community, Ducati Malaysia also donated a cheque of RM30,000 to further grow the community of passionate Ducati riders.

In the spirit of caring and sharing in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration that is just around the corner, Ducati Owners Club Malaysia (DOCM), together with Ducati Malaysia, Amal Ehsan Care and the Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organization (MAPIM), organized a ‘Ramadan Basket’ program for the less fortunate families.

Held at Ducati Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, the initiative was part of DOCM and Ducati Malaysia corporate social responsibility campaign.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order (MCO), many Muslim families are struggling financially, affecting their Hari Raya preparations.

The ‘Ramadan Basket’ program saw a total of 50 less fortunate families receiving food packs in the form of rice and groceries while adhering to the strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Also present to witness the event was Chairman of Amal Ehsan Care, Tuan Kelana Putra Muhamad, MAPIM WP Coordinator, YB Ustaz Fadhil and Next Bike Sdn Bhd Head Of Company, Dennis Michael.

Ducati owners and members of the exclusive Desmo Owners Club (DOC) Malaysia were treated to an exclusive sneak preview of the soon-to-be-launched Ducati Diavel 1260 S this evening, hosted by Next Bike Sdn. Bhd., the official distributor of the Ducati Brand in Malaysia.

Awed by the Diavel 1260 S’s powerful and muscular aura, the invited guests were among the privileged few in Malaysia to view the scene-stealing bike in the flesh and are already looking forward towards its official launch later in the year.

Its sophisticated yet muscular design with world-class innovation also won the Diavel 1260 S’ base model the prestigious title “Red Dot Award 2019: Best of the Best”.

Perfect for everyday riding and touring the Diavel 1260 S is powered by a Testastretta DVT 1262cc engine capable of delivering 159 hp at 9,500 rpm and 12 Nm acceleration with a low-rev smoothness. Equipped with an upgraded chassis set-up, the bike is more responsive on mixed-road routes and its top-drawer technology and electronics provides braking performance which are on par with a sport bike. The award-winning bike is also fitted with Bosch Cornering ABS and user-friendly engine performance control as well for added peace of mind.

The Diavel 1260 S also features a fully adjustable Öhlins suspension at both front and rear dedicated wheels, and an even higher-performance braking system. Additionally, the sporty superbike mounts Ducati Quick Shift up & down (DQS) as standard to allow clutch-less shifting.
