RASMI: Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Mendarat Di Malaysia – Dari RM99,900

Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello akhirnya mendarat di Malaysia selepas diperkenalkan pada pasaran global pada penghujung tahun 2021.

Menurut pengedar rasmi, DIDI Group, Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello hadir dengan dua varian, Standard dan S dengan keduanya dibezakan dengan kelengkapan yang lebih premium termasuk ‘Öhlins semi-active suspension’.

Untuk rekod, V100 Mandello bukan sekadar motosikal baharu tetapi lebih daripada itu. . Ini kerana V100 Mandello itu merupakan motosikal pertama yang dihasilkan Moto Guzzi yang dilengkapi ciri moden dan berteknologi tinggi termasuk sistem suspensi semi-aktif, IMU 6-axis, cornering ABS dan ‘quickshifter’.

Bukan itu sahaja, Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello juga mempunyai panel badan dibahagian kanan dan kiri tangki yang akan terbuka dengan sendirinya bagi menghasilkan ‘downforce’ yang lebih efisien. Menurut Moto Guzzi, teknologi itu dinamakan sebagai ‘adaptive aerodynamics’.

Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello dikuasakan enjin jenis ‘transverse’ V-Twin 1,042cc yang berupaya menghasilkan 115hp dan 105Nm pada 3,500rpm. Meskipun bersesaran lebih besar berbanding platform yang diguna pakai pada V85 TT, namun enjin V100 Mandello itu 103mm lebih pendek.

Bagi yang berminat, Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello dijual pada harga RM99,900 sementara V100 Mandello ‘S’ pula, RM117,900.

Kemunculan V100 Mandello di Malaysia pastinya menghangatkan lagi segmen ‘sports touring’ disini terutamanya bagi mereka yang gemar menunggang jarak jauh.

DIDI Group, the official distributor of Moto Guzzi brand’s in Malaysia is set to unveil the highly anticipated Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello in Malaysia on 22 June 2023.

the V100 Mandello is the firm’s first motorcycle to feature Öhlins semi-active suspension.
powering the sports cruiser is the firm’s latest 1,042cc transverse 90-degree V-Twin engine that makes 115hp and 105Nm @ 3,500rpm.

The sports-tourer will finally making it’s way to our shores just seven months after it’s global introduction back in November 2022.

The V100 Mandello is not just another new motorcycle coming from Moto Guzzi, it also represents the brand bold move into the 21st century.This is due to the fact that the V100 is the first production motorcycle to feature semi-active suspension, 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, quickshifter and a liquid-cooled engine.

Basically, it is the first Moto Guzzi with everything modern and we are surprised that the V100 Mandello even has an adaptive aerodynamics package. Nevertheless, as a sport-touring machine, the V100 Mandello still sport the classic element of a Moto Guzzi.

The V100 Mandello makes 115hp and 105Nm @ 3,500rpm from its 1,042cc transverse 90-degree V-Twin engine. The engine is also 103mm shorter than the V85 TT platform.

Thanks to a lower positioning of the drive shaft, the V100 Mandello offers a smooth ride during accelerating and decelerating on par to a bike with a chain drive.

It also features a 17.5L fuel tank and a large saddle comfortable for riders and pillion.

However, to increase comfort, the V100 is equipped with adaptive air deflectors located at the front fairing which extend to different degrees depending on the riding mode and bike speed. The exciting feature is something we never seen before on any bikes available in the market.

The arrival of the all-new V100 Mandello is definitely something to look out for in 2023. However, we are more intrigued in finding out the price tag for the technologically advanced machine which is set to be unveiled in a week’s time.

Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello merupakan model yang paling mencuri tumpuan pernah dihasilkan jenama motosikal Itali itu. Ini kerana, V100 Mandello merupakan titik permulaan Moto Guzzi melangkau ke era moden dengan jentera berteknologi tinggi.

Selepas mendapat pujian melambung di Eropah, motosikal jenis ‘sports tourer’ itu akhirnya akan dipasarkan di Malaysia.

Berdasarkan info terbaru yang diperolehi, Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello akan dilancarkan di Malaysia pada 22 Jun ini oleh pengedar rasmi, DIDI Group.

Triumph Street Triple 765 2023 Tiba Di Malaysia – Dari RM59,900

Pengedar baharu jenama Triumph Motorcycles Di Malaysia, Didi Group, dengan rasminya melancarkan Triumph Street Triple 765 2023 untuk pasaran tempatan.

Bagi pasaran Malaysia, tiga varian ditawarkan menerusi varian Street Triple 765 R, RS dan Moto2 Edition. Menurut Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia, varian R dijual dengan harga RM59,900 manakala RS pula ditawarkan dengan harga RM73,900.

Apa yang baharu?

Pertamanya, Triumph membawakan teknologi Moto2 kepada Street Triple 765 2023 sekaligus tampil dengan kuasa lebih tinggi dan aspek menunggang lebih baik.

Hasilnya, varian standard (R) kini menghasilkan 118hp, naik 2hp berbanding model terdahulu sementara varian RS pula menawarkan 128hp. Kenaikan kuasa ini disumbang oleh nisbah mampatan yang lebih tinggi berbanding sebelum ini.

Antara kemas kini yang dilaksanakan pada bahagian dalaman enjin termasuk piston baharu, con-rod baharu, serta ruang pembakaran yang telah direka semula sekaligus menyumbang kepada peningkatan kuasa.

Spesifikasi dinaik taraf

Model 2023 juga telah didatangkan dengan pelbagai ciri baharu termasuk brek Brembo M4 dan suspensi Showa boleh laras bagi varian R.

Varian RS pula mendapat suspensi Showa SFF-BP 41mm di depan dan penyerap hentakan Ohlins di belakang sementara varian Moto2 Edition pula dilengkapi dengan suspensi Ohlins depan dan belakang.

Pakej elektronik

Ketiga-tiga varian juga didatangkan dengan pakej elektronik baharu yang merangkumi Cornering ABS, Traction Control dan empat mod menunggang; Road, Rain, Sport dan Rider.

Namun varian RS dan Moto2 Edition pula mendapat mod tambahan (Track).

Dalam perkembangan sama, Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia turut merasmikan pembukaan pusat pameran perdana Triumph Motorcycles Petaling Jaya yang bertempat bersebelahan dengan Gasket Alley, Petaling Jaya.

Pusat pameran itu merupakan yang kedua di Malaysia selepas Batu Caves dan menawarkan barisan model yang serba lengkap dan terkini.

OFFICIAL: Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Now In Malaysia – From RM22,000

The all-new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 which was introduced globally back in August 2022 has officially make its way to Malaysia.

The Hunter 350 joins Classic 350 and Meteor 350.
Available in two trims, Metro Rebel and Metro Dapper.

Available in two variants, the Metro Rebel and Metro Dapper – with the only difference between the two models is the colour scheme – is priced at RM22,200 and RM22,000 respectively.

Powering the Hunter 350 is the same 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine found in the Meteor and Classic. The engine pumps out 20.2hp @ 6,100rpm and 27Nm @ 4,00rpm, with Royal Enfield claiming a max speed of 114km/h. Meanwhile, power is delivered to the rear wheel via a five-speed manualtransmission and chain final drive.

While the Indian market gets 17-inch wired spoked (non-tubeless) and alloy wheels, only the latter is available for the Malaysian market due to the former is fitted with drum brake which does not meet the local homologation.

That said, Malaysian gets the 17-inch alloy wheels with 110/70 at the front and 140/70 tubeless tyre at the rear. The Hunter 350 is also fitted with hydraulic disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory 2022 Kini Di Malaysia – 100HP, RM73,900

Didi Group selaku pengedar rasmi jenama Aprilia di Malaysia dengan rasminya memperkenalkan Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory untuk pasaran tempatan.

Berbanding (model standard) Tuono 660 yang menawarkan 95hp daripada enjin 659cc parallel-twin, versi Factory pula menawarkan kuasa yang lebih tinggi, 100hp dan 67Nm.

Selain daripada kuasa yang lebih tinggi, Tuono 660 Factory ini juga hanya datang dengan pilihan warna Factory Black di samping memaparkan nama ‘factory’ di bahagian sisi fairing depan.

Bagaimanapun, ciri lain yang terdapat pada model standard masih dikekalkan pada model ini antaranya gear lebih pendek serta pakej APRC sama seperti RS660 yang merangkumi:

Selain itu, varian Factory ini juga lebih ringan dibantu dengan penggunaan bateri lithium yang berjaya mengurangkan berat sekitar 2kg.

Antara ciri lain ditawarkan termasuk cakera brek berkembar (depan) 320mm, cakera berk tunggal (belakang) 222mm, kaliper brek Brembo dan lampu LED penuh.

Menariknya, Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory ini juga datang dengan harga lebih murah berbanding versi standard yang diperkenalkan tahun lalu (2021).

Menurut Didi Group, Tuono 660 Factory ini dijual pada harga RM73,900.

It’s widely known that Canadian superstar Justin Bieber is huge fan of motorcycles in general. However, there’s much to be said about his recent collaborative endeavour with Vespa.

Besides it’s ‘monochrome’ all-white aesthetics (including the seat saddle, grips and wheels), what really sets the Justin Bieber x Vespa special apart are the drawn-on flames. “Ultimately the goal in creating and designing is always to put your own unique spin on things”, said Bieber about it.

“I love Vespa, and to partner with such a classic brand is so cool. Being able to express myself, whether it’s through art, music, visuals, or aesthetics, being able to create something from nothing – it’s a part of me,” added the superstar further about his collaborative effort with the Italian scooter marque.

Apart from the design, much of the recently revised Sprint model that this special underpins remains unchanged. Highlights include a multi-function digital TFT full-colour dash display with connectivity features, as well as full-LED lighting amongst the highlights.

That said, the limited edition Justin Bieber x Vespa is priced at RM28,000 and inclusive of Vespa flyscreen and a white top box with backrest.

All-New Royal Enfield Scram 411 Now In Malaysia – From RM26,900

After its global introduction in March 2022, local distributor Didi Group has officially launched the Royal Enfield Scram 411 for the Malaysian market.

New Royal Enfield Scram 411 is a stripped-down Himalayan poised for the urban scrambler.
Features the same 411cc single SOCH engine as the off-road capable Himalayan 411.

Dubbed as an ‘urban scrambler’, it’s essentially the brand’s Himalayan adventure bike that’s been stripped down and given a proper modern retro styling twist.

Whilst the Scram 411’s base chassis remains unchanged from the Himalayan, it does employ identical 41mm front forks tweaked with slightly less travel – 190mm down from 200mm. The rear monoshock’s 180mm travel figure remains unchanged though.

That, along with the adoption of 21-inch (front) and 19-inch (rear) wheels ought to see the Royal Enfield Scram 411 boast slightly better on-road manners compared to the Himalayan ADV it underpins.

Also unchanged is the Himalayan’s powertrain package employed by the Royal Enfield Scram 411. You get the same air-cooled 411cc single with 24.3bhp @ 6,500rpm and 32NM @ 4,000RPM in this urban retro redux of said ADV machine.

Other major changes from the Himalayan obviously lay in the overall styling. The Scram 411 trade’s away the Himalayan’s fairing and high mudguard for a stripped down look with a small bit of bodywork to covering the instrument dial’s back.

There’s also a new single-piece seat that Royal Enfield says will offer enhanced comfort for long riding stints allowed by the sizeable 12.5-litre tank present, not forgetting the brand’s Tripper navigation unit brimmed as standard a feature too.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Lancar Di Malaysia – Dari RM26,900

Royal Enfield telah pun memperkenalkan ahli baharu dalam keluarga Himalayan menerusi Scram 411 pada bulan Mac lalu.

Namun, hanya selang beberapa bulan, motosikal serba baharu daripada Royal Enfield itu akhirnya masuk pasaran Malaysia menerusi pengedar baharu Didi Group.

Menurut Didi Group, Royal Enfield Scram 411 itu kini boleh didapati di Malaysia pada harga bermula dari RM26,900 (base), RM27,100 (mid) dan RM27,400 (premium). Perbezaan antara ketiga-tiga varian ini hanyalah pilihan warna sahaja.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 ini lahir daripada Himalayan 411 dan hasilnya, model ini juga dikuasakan enjin 411cc SOHC dengan penyejukan udara yang menghasilkan 24.3hp pada 6,500rpm dan 32Nm pada 6,500rpm.

Kuasa pula disalurkan kepada tayar belakang menerusi transmisi 5-kelajuan.

Sistem suspensi pula hadir menerusi fork depan teleskopik 41mm dengan jarak pergerakan 190mm sementara monoshock belakang pula tawar pergerakan 180mm.

Spesifikasi tersebut adalah sama seperti yang terdapat pada Himalayan 411 2022.

Meskipun Scram 411 menawarkan ciri motosikal urban namun komponen brek juga sama seperti Himalayan 411, dengan kaliper brek dua-piston di depan dipadankan bersama cakera brek 300mm dan kaliper satu piston belakang dengan cakera brek 240mm.

Kawalan brek juga diselia dengan bantuan ABS dwi-saluran.

Pada masa sama, Scram 411 ini juga masih lagi didatangkan dengan rim jenis ‘wire spoke’ sama seperti Himalayan 411 sekaligus model baharu ini masih lagi boleh ditunggang di permukaan lasak.
