Triumph, the British motorcycle manufacturer, has announced a new limited edition of its Bonneville T120 model in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its partnership with the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR).

  • only 250 units of the special edition Bonneville T120 is produced. 
  • the bike features DGR branding and a black-and-white color scheme. 

The DGR is an annual event that sees riders in over 800 cities around the world come together to raise money for prostate cancer research. The event has raised $37 million USD since its inception, with 90,000 riders taking part.

The new model, called the Triumph Bonneville T120 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition, will feature DGR branding and a black-and-white color scheme that matches that of DGR. The motorcycle will be produced in 250 units and will come with gold detailing and a brown seat. Each motorcycle will also come with a numbered certificate signed by DGR founder Mark Hawwa and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor.

Mark Hawwa, founder and director of DGR, said that he was “beyond proud” to release the Bonneville T120 Black Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition motorcycle, adding that “Triumph has become like a family to me and to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.”

Triumph Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud said that the partnership between the two organizations is an “incredibly important partnership for Triumph and the thousands of Triumph DGR fans across the world,” and that the launch of the new limited edition model was a way to “mark this wonderful occasion with something truly special.”

The Triumph Bonneville T120 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition is set to be a sought-after collector’s item for fans of the DGR and Triumph alike.

Only 250 units of the Triumph Bonneville T120 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition will be produced worldwide. 

The stylish motorcycle features a two-tone paint scheme inspired by the classic “dress suit,” with gold detailing that nods to dapper clothing accessories like pocket watches and tie-pins. The bike also has a brown bench seat with pillion strap, giving it a vintage look. Each motorcycle comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, and edition number 001 will be given to the highest fundraiser for the 2023 DGR.

  • Lebih daripada 600 orang penunggang telah mendaftar untuk tunggangan ini di mana pelbagai jenis jentera moden klasik telah berkonvoi dari Dataran Merdeka menuju ke Muzium Negara.

  • Tiga Moto successfully organised their first-ever DGR KL 2018 (Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur).

  • Over 600 riders registered for the ride where a wide range of modern classic machines convoyed from Dataran Merdeka to Muzium Negara.

  • The KL chapter also managed to donate a whopping 6,543 USD (around RM27,104).

It was a sight to behold as over 600 bikers and riders from all walks of life gathered at the heart of Kuala Lumpur yesterday afternoon for the annual DGR KL 2018 or Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2018. Organised by Tiga Moto (the proprietor of Tiga Supply Company located at The Gasket Alley PJ), a fleet of modern classic machines made their way from Dataran Merdeka to Muzium Negara. (more…)

  • Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2017 (DGR KL 2017) telah menyaksikan lebih daripada 500 orang peserta yang segak bergaya menyertai penunggangan untuk satu tujuan yang baik.
  • Para peserta yang berpakaian segak bergaya telah menunggang motosikal kesayangan masing-masing dari motosikal Vespa yang vintaj hinggalah ke motosikal cruiser yang dikhususkan bermula dari Triumph Fast Bikes, Petaling Jaya hingga ke IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
  • Bahagian Kuala Lumpur telah berjaya mengutip derma dalam jumlah melebihi USD2,000 (sekitar RM8,000) bagi menyokong badan kebajikan berkaitan kesihatan lelaki dan juga pencegahan pembunuhan diri untuk platform tempatan dan juga antarabangsa.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2017 saw over 500 dapper participants joining the ride for a good cause.

Smartly dressed ladies and gentlemen rode prized motorcycles from vintage Vespas to custom cruisers from Triumph Fast Bikes Petaling Jaya all the way to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.

The KL faction managed to collect over USD2,000 (around RM8,000) in donations to support the cause on men’s health and suicide prevention on both local and international platforms.

Over 500 smartly-dressed ladies and gentlemen got on their vintage and modern classic motorcycles for this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2017. The Kuala Lumpur faction organised by none other local outfit Naked13 where folks dressed in dapper rolled off from Triumph Fast Bikes Petaling Jaya all the way to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. (more…)

Initiated in 2012, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is a global initiative where men dress up dapper and ride their bikes (mostly cafe racers and bobbers) in groups to raise awareness and help fund the cure of prostate cancer.

Gaining more popularity and support by the year, this year’s ride is just around the corner, scheduled to take place on the 27th of September. As for the Malaysian DGR, riders are expected to start gathering as early as 7.00 am at the Royal Malaysian Air Force base in Sungai Besi, and roll-out at 9.00 am.

The convoy is expected to make its first stop at The Garage KL in Ampang, followed by Istana Negara at Jalan Duta, and finish at the Pavillion, Jalan Bukit Bintang at 2.00 pm.

At least 500 participants are expected to take part in this year’s DGRKL convoy, with stronger presence from female riders and celebrities, namely Altimet, Noh Hujan, Wak Doyok, Fauziah Latiff, former national football player Asmawi Bakiri and many others.

Organised by avid Cafe Racer enthusiast and architect, Kamarul Azahar bin Azman, Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2015 has already received sponsorship from Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd (Triumph Malaysia),  and Dato Razak Al Malique, the owner of Triumph Malaysia company said that he will be one of the riders on that day as well.
