  • PETRONAS Talent Development Programme (TDP) dan SIC Talent Development Programme (SICTD) telah bekerjasama bagi membantu dalam usaha berterusan untuk memupuk bakat muda.
  • SIC akan bertanggungjawab dalam menguruskan pasukan serta para penunggangnya manakala PETRONAS akan berusaha untuk mengembangkan imej jenama berkenaan di arena perlumbaan motosikal antarabangsa.

PETRONAS and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have joined forces to form the PETRONAS Sprinta Racing team to further develop the future of two-wheel motorsports in the region.

The PETRONAS Talent Development Programme (TDP) and SIC Talent Development Programme (SICTD) have been brought together to assist with the ongoing efforts to nurture young talents.

SIC will take charge of managing the team and riders while PETRONAS will strive on expanding the brand’s image in the international motorcycle racing arena.

It was recently announced that PETRONAS and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) has entered a very monumental strategic partnership with the formation of a brand new racing team called the PETRONAS Sprinta Racing outfit. (more…)

  • Thailand telah mengesahkan yang mereka akan mula menganjurkan perlumbaan MotoGP untuk tiga tahun bermula pada 2018.
  • Perjanjian ini telah dimeterai antara Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) dan Dorna hujung minggu lalu semasa satu perjumpaan di Itali.
  • Pusingan MotoGP Thai akan diadakan dari 5 hingga 7 Oktober 2018.

Thailand has confirmed that they will start hosting the MotoGP race for three years beginning in 2018.

The deal was finalised between the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Dorna last weekend during a meeting in Italy.

The MotoGP Thai Round will run its course from 5 to 7 October 2018.

According to a report made by the Bangkok Post, the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Dorna has come to an agreement which will see Thailand hosting the MotoGP race for three years beginning in 2018. Both parties finally struck the deal the past weekend back in Italy. (more…)

  • Anthony West (Akeno Speed WJR Racing Team) was disqualified from both ARRC (Asia Road Racing Championship) Round Two races due to ‘technical infringement’

  • West originally finished third in Race One and first in Race Two at the Buriram International Circuit

  • “Team Akeno Speed Racing had refused to strip the motorcycle at parc ferme for post-race scrutineering.”

Following the recent round of Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in Thailand just last weekend, we saw that our home-grown hero Azlan Shah from the Manual Tech KYT Kawasaki Racing Team emerged victorious in both races of Round 2.

The race ran its course around the Buriram International Circuit which was filled with more than the usual drama and excitement. One of which would be Anthony West’s disqualification from both races in which he had obtained podium positions.

The recent ARRC (Asia Road Racing Championship) round held at the Buriram International Circuit saw plenty of action from all of the categories that took part from 13 – 15 April 2017.
