Aprilia RSV4 Factory

Aprilia begins its 2022 lineup with the updated RSV4 Factory that now features an Ultra Dark colourway.

The new colourway is set to meet a wider audience who seeks a darker and stealthier look, which adds excitement while riding the high-performance motorcycle.

However, no changes were made to its mechanics as the Noale Factory has already made a huge update to its flagship sportbike in 2021.

The RSV4 Factory gets a displacement bump from 1,077cc to 1,099cc and churns out even more peak power, 217hp @ 13,200rpm, while reducing its carbon emission to meet Euro 5 emission standards.

Aprilia also integrated the RSV4 bi-plane wings into the double-wall fairing that boosts engine cooling capabilities while optimizing its high-speed stability.

The RSV4 also gets a MotoGP-inspired swingarm that is now lighter and features a reinforced lower brace that helps improve stability and acceleration.

Last year, other upgrades included Ohlins Smart EC 2.0, a new LED headlight, a more prominent TFT display, and revamped ride-by-wire system.

Rekaan baharu ini terhasil daripada pembangunan aerodinamik serba canggih dan diinspirasikan daripada RS660.

RSV4 baharu ini juga tampil dengan chasis lebih ringan dengan penggunaan swingarm baharu yang diinspirasikan daripada Aprilia RS-GP di MotoGP.

Aprilia juga integrasikan ‘winglet’ kepada fairing kiri dan kanan sekaligus meningkatkan kestabilan jentera ke tahap yang lebih efisien terutamanya sewaktu dalam kelajuan tinggi.

Model ini juga didatangkan dengan lampu LED penuh yang digabungkan bersama Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

Menurut Aprilia, ergonomik RSV4 2021 ini juga telah dinaik taraf dengan reka bentuk tangki dan tempat duduk baharu lantas mewujudkan posisi tempat duduk yang lebih selesa.

Sistem APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) juga telah diperkemas hasil bantuan unit kawalan Marelli 11MP serta platform 6-axis inertial serba baharu yang boleh diselaraskan menerusi paparan TFT yang lebih besar.

Motosikal ini juga tampil dengan ciri berikut:

  • Ride-by-Wire
  • engine brake multilevel control
  • enam mod tunggangan (riding mode)
  • traction control
  • wheelie control
  • engine brake control
  • ABS

Sementara itu, naik taraf enjin 1,099cc V4 kepada standard Euro 5 turut menyaksikan peningkatan tork kepada 125Nm pada 10,500rpm serta 217hp pada 13,000rpm.

Model ini tampil dengan dua varian, RSV4 dan RSV4 Factory dan meskipun kedua-duanya dikuasakan dengan enjin sama namun versi Factory didatangkan dengan rim forged aluminium, Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension serta kaliper Brembo Stylema.
