MOTOGP: Marc Marquez takes sixth straight win in Texas

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) took home his sixth consecutive MotoGP win yesterday at the Circuit of the Americas.

Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) got his groove back and finished strong in second place.

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) gave Suzuki their first back-to-back podium finishes by finishing the race in third.

Despite receiving a three-place grid penalty which saw Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez starting the race from the fourth position, the defending champion and the Circuit of the Americas records holder showed everyone why he’s still the man to beat this year. (more…)

MotoGP: Maverick Vinales gets pole position in America

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Maverick Vinales has been promoted to pole position.

Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez did set the fastest time but will start from fourth after he was given a three-place grid penalty.

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) completes the front row.

It was a qualifying session filled with drama at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas yesterday as they battle it out for race position on Sunday. The MotoGP qualifying session saw Repsol Honda rider and defending champion setting the fastest lap of the day even after a rough tumble at Turn 13. (more…)

MotoGP: Johann Zarco Menghampiri Podium Pertama Musim 2017

 

 

  • Penunggang baru MotoGP 2017 Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) dengan pantas menarik minat ramai dalam tiga pusingan pertama musim ini.
  • Susulan permulaan yang hebat di Qatar dimana dia mendahului perlumbaan sebelum terbabas, Zarco menamatkan GP Argentina dan GP Amerika di kedudukan kelima.
  • Penunggang berusia 27 tahun itu sedang berusaha untuk mengemudi jentera Yamaha M1-nya untuk kedudukan podium MotoGP pertamanya hujung minggu ini di Jerez untuk Gran Premio Red Bull de España.

MotoGP: Johann Zarco getting closer to his first Podium of 2017

MotoGP 2017 rookie Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) was quick to get under the spotlight for the first three rounds of the season.

Following a great start in Qatar where the Frenchman actually led the race before crashing out, Zarco finish the Argentina GP and Americas GP in fifth position.

The 27 year old rider is looking to take his Yamaha M1 to his first ever MotoGP podium this weekend in Jerez for the Gran Premio Red Bull de España.

It’s only his rookie season in MotoGP after being crowned the Moto2 World Champion last year and Johann Zarco was quick to get under the spotlight for the first three races. Following an incredible first race in Qatar where the Frenchman blitzed through the MotoGP veterans before crashing out while leading the race, the 27 year old rookie riding for the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 squad finished an amazing Fifth in both Argentina GP and also Americas GP.   • Baru-baru ini Danny Kent telah mengumumkan keberangkatannya dari pasukan Moto2 Kiefer Racing kerana kesukaran yang berpanjangan semenjak kemunculannya di Moto2 musim lepas.
  • “Ia merupakan satu masa yang sukar sejak menyertai pasukan ini dan saya tidak rasa yang saya boleh capai potensi saya, jadi saya memutuskan untuk menarik diri.”
  • “Ia mematahkan hati saya sebagai seorang manusia dan penunggang, dan secara jujurnya saya rasa jika peluang yang terbaik muncul saya mampu menjadi laju dalam Moto2.”

Moto2: Danny Kent leaves Kiefer Racing

  1. Danny Kent recently announced his departure from Moto2’s Kiefer Racing team after a long and difficult time since stepping up to Moto2 last season

  2. “It’s been a difficult period since joining the team and I don’t feel I’m able to reach my potential so I’ve decided to step away.”

  3. “It was breaking me as a person and rider, and I honestly think if the right opportunity comes up I can be fast in Moto2.”

  • Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) race brilliantly to P2, putting him ahead of the championship title fight with 56 points

  • Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) landed his first podium of the season after quite a few amazing battles with Marquez and Rossi throughout the race

It’s official; Marc Marquez makes it five out five victories at arguably one of his favourite tracks in the race calendar, the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Texas USA.
