Rossi goes old school with 2018 AGV Pista GP R

Nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has unveiled his latest 2018 AGV Pista GP R.

Following the two-year contract renewal with Movistar Yamaha, the 39-year-old showcased a very retro-looking helmet.

With a minimalistic approach, his 2018 helmet was inspired by helmets used in Formula 1 back in the 70s and 80s.

Following the recent announcement of his two-year contract renewal with the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team, nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi introduced his latest 2018 AGV Pista GP R livery.   • Helmet AGV Pista GP R milik Valentino Rossi dengan kemasan grafik Mexico yang istimewa telah diperkenalkan bagi ujian musim sejuk di Litar Sepang yang bakal tiba.
  • Diinspirasikan oleh seni manik suku kaum Huichol, Rossi telah membawa inspirasinya itu kepada Drudi Performance bagi membolehkan mereka menghasilkan rekaan yang unik itu.
  • Hasilnya adalah sebuah seni buatan tangan yang akan dipakai oleh Rossi semasa ujian musim sejuk MotoGP 2018 nanti yang akan diadakan dari 28 Januari 2018 di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang.

Rossi’s AGV Pista GP R gets Mexican flavour for 2018 MotoGP winter test!

Valentino Rossi’s AGV Pista GP R with special Mexican graphics was introduced for the upcoming Sepang winter test.

Inspired by the Huichol bead art, Rossi took his inspirations to Drudi Performance to come up with the unique design.

The final result is a hand-painted work of art where Rossi will wear during the 2018 MotoGP winter test on 28 January 2018 at the Sepang International Circuit.

The 2017 MotoGP season might be over but it also means that the 2018 MotoGP winter test is upon us and that’ll excite any motorcycle enthusiast out there. With the reshuffle of the MotoGP grid plus some new rookies stepping up into the premier class, we simply can’t wait to see them all together with their latest generation race machines. (more…)
