2018 Honda CB1000R

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) previewed their super naked 2018 Honda CB1000R at the Malaysia Autoshow 2018.

Known as the “Neo Sports Cafe”, the CB1000R is essentially the naked version of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade superbike.

No official price has been revealed yet but BSH has hinted that it might be around the RM80,000 mark.

It was only yesterday when Boon Siew Honda (BSH) announced the official prices for the highly-awaited 2018 Honda X-ADV adventure scooter as well as the 2018 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin series. A one-off custom carbon fibre 2018 Honda CB1000R Carbon Edition was revealed during the 2018 Tokyo Motorcycle Show.

Built by Magical Racing, everything from its wheels to handlebars have been replaced with carbon fibre parts.

A Yamamoto Racing Spec-A full-system exhaust with gold silencer brings everything together.

It was only a few months ago when Honda unleashed their latest ‘Neo Sports Cafe’ machine called the 2018 Honda CB1000R. Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has confirmed that the upcoming 2018 Honda X-ADV will be priced below the RM70,000 mark.

The news was confirmed yesterday during the Honda BigWing Centre launch in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

The Honda Africa Twin series starts at around RM80,000 which is in the same price range as the upcoming 2018 Honda CB1000R Neo Sports Cafe.

After the recent launch of Malaysia’s first ever Honda BigWing Centre yesterday in Setapak, Boon Siew Honda (BSH) announced that they will be extending their big bike range with the introduction of three new models for the first half of 2018. Honda motorcycles launched their latest streetfighter yet in the form of the new 2018 Honda CB1000R during the recent EICMA 2017 show in Milan.

The new CB1000R comes with the same 1,000cc, Euro4-compliant, inline-four engine found in the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

Other features include slipper-and-assist clutch, Ride-by-Wire, traction control, selectable power maps, engine braking controls, fully-adjustable Showa suspensions and many more.

What happens when Honda takes a beautiful concept and turn it into a full production bike? We were able to witness that firsthand when they introduced the new 2018 Honda CB1000R streetfighter which is heavily based on the Honda Neo Sports Cafe concept. (more…)
