Close win for the world’s fastest Ducati Multistrada at Pikes Peak!

The world’s fastest Ducati Multistrada 1260 gave Ducati back their crown at the 2018 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Ducati’s Carlin Dunne took his fourth win after a close battle with KTM’s Rennie Scaysbrook.
KTM also won and broke the record for the middleweight division thanks to Chris Fillmore and the new KTM 790 Duke.

The 96^th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb saw a lot of brave souls battling it out at the ‘Race to the Clouds’ near Colorado Springs, USA. For the motorcycle heavyweight division, it was expected that Ducati and KTM will go head to head but no one expected it would be such a close race. (more…)

Ducati has possibly created the world’s fastest 2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak bikes.

These two bikes will compete next month at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2018.

Some modifications include OZ Racing magnesium wheels, custom Termignoni exhaust, special Ohlins suspensions, and more.

For this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Ducati is ready to get things going with more than just a normal bike with a normal rider. In order to reclaim the King of the Mountain title, Ducati has essentially created the world’s fastest 2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260 specifically for Pikes Peak. (more…)
