2023 Yamaha NMax Now Available In New Colours – RM9,798

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has announced that its popular scooter model, the NMAX, will be available in two new stylish colours: Red and Blue.

The Yamaha NMax gets new colour scheme for 2023.
Powering the scooter is the refined Blue Core liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC, 155cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve fuel-injected engine.

The updated models will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide starting from 16th March 2023, with an updated recommended retail price of RM 9,798.00 (excluding registration fees and insurance coverage).

The Yamaha NMAX has been a favourite among Malaysian riders since its launch. The model is powered by a refined Blue Core liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC, 155cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve fuel-injected engine with CVT, and comes with a large fuel tank of 7.1L. The new Red and Blue colours are expected to add more excitement and style to this already-popular model.

New owners of the NMAX can enjoy additional benefits with their purchase. They will receive a Yamaha safety disc lock worth RM 100, providing added security and peace of mind while riding their new scooter.

Futuristic Looking Yamaha Augur 155 Rolls Out In Taiwan – 14.7hp, 13.8Nm

Yamaha released an all-new scooter specific to the Taiwanese market called the Augur.

Yamaha Augur is the latest compact scooter to be made available in Taiwan.
Features the tried-and-test Yamaha’s 155cc single-cylinder engine with VVA.

At a glance, the 155cc scooter is the most futuristic-looking model manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer in recent years.

Interestingly, the Augur 155 also packs some tasty features, including a 4.3-inch TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity, traction control and ABS.

However, the centrepiece has to be its radical design, highlighted by its angular section, creating a never-before-seen aesthetic.

At the front, the Augur gets an arrow shape headlamp that also features the nifty Y-LLA (Yamaha Lean Light Assist) or cornering lights.

What’s more extraordinary is that the user can change the LED headlight colour from bright white to warm white depending on weather conditions.

Despite the modern touch, Yamaha still retains the typical scooter functionality, including a wide saddle for comfortable riding, a flat floorboard and ample under-seat storage.

Powering the Augur is the same 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, and fuel-injected engine found in the NMax 155 and NVX 155.

Yamaha X-Force Scooter Breaks Cover In Japan – Features Traction Control, New Chassis

Yamaha has unveiled the new X-Force scooter in Japan, a feature-laden compact scooter built to get around the urban jungle.

The Yamaha X-Force is not just another compact scooter by Yamaha, instead the bike gets a host of modern features that usually found on a bigger capacity scooter.

According to the Iwata factory, the X-Force is equipped with traction control and Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity via a dedicated app.

Interestingly, the scooter is designated as “Master of Street Scooter” similar to how Yamaha named its MT line as “Master of Torque”.

As a result, the X-Force features a 1,340mm wheelbase and an accessible seat height of 815mm. The flat saddle also allows riders of every height can enjoy a pleasant riding experience in the city.

However, despite the X-Force already made its bow in Taiwan as Force 2.0, the X-Force gets new colour combination for the Japanese market.

Nevertheless, the Yamaha X-Force is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine. The scooter also employs Yamaha’s Blue Core and VVA Technology that provides high torque over the entire rev range.

Meanwhile, the smartphone connectivity allows riders to monitor incoming calls and messages via the bike’s digital LCD panel.

Despite its compact design, the X-Force gets a large under-seat storage capacity of 23.2L and two helmet holders. Practicality is also another word to describe the bike as it also equipped with a decent 6.1L tank and a USB port.

At present, the Yamaha X-Force is priced 15 JPY396,000 (RM12.9k) putting it around the same price bracket as the Honda ADV 150.

Cub Prix: Round 6 will introduce new race category – Yamaha NVX Challenge!

The sixth round of the 2017 Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix will see another race category added to the series which is the Yamaha NVX Challenge.

20 new young racers will battle it out for the rest of the Cub Prix season on board the newly-launched 155cc 2017 Yamaha NVX scooters.

The first ever round will be this weekend on 5 and 6 August 2017 which will be held in Jasin, Melaka.

The sixth round of the 2017 Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix will see a seventh race category added to the other race classes which is the Yamaha NVX Challenge. A group of 20 young racers will battle it out on board race-kitted Yamaha NVX scooters which were previewed in the previous Cub Prix round held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Selangor. Ruang utama telah dikhaskan untuk mempromosikan skuter terbaru mereka yang turut menyaksikan satu pertunjukan lagak ngeri menggunakan sebuah skuter perlumbaan Yamaha NVX Challenge yang telah diubahsuai oleh penunggang lagak ngeri mereka yang dikenali sebagai Gaban.
Motosikal yang paling menarik perhatian dipamerkan adalah motosikal Yamaha NVX yang dilitupi dengan warna Movistar Yamaha dan Monster Yamaha Tech 3.
