Marquez celebrates Superprestigio 2016 win with a special video

It appears that 2016 MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez got busy during his off-season. Besides testing with the factory Repsol Honda outfit, the Spaniard also made time to compete and win in the 2016 Superprestigio dirt bike race.

If you didn’t know, the annual Superprestigio an invitational dirt bike event held in Barcelona, Spain. It was revived back in 2014 and Marquez has been a regular headlining competitor since, racing alongside other great race riders.

The most recent edition of the Superprestigio held in December 2016 saw Marquez charting his second win in the Superfinal heat. And to celebrate that feat, the Spanish racing sensation’s team has created a short video on YouTube of the triumphant outing last month.

Marc Marquez was able to outrace on of his strongest rivals in this annual event, American Flat Track star Brad Baker, in style. The American would settle for third place whilst Marquez’ compatriot and MotoAmerica rider Toni Elias finished second in the 16-lap Superfinal heat of the annual dirt invitational.
