PSA: Never use your phone while riding!

Motorcycle vlogger shows how dangerous it is to use your phone while riding.

It is only common sense. Distracted driving can cause accidents, and the same applies with distracted riding. Here’s an example of the latter as this motorcycle vlogger shows how dangerous it is to use your phone while riding.

What began as a merely a simple need to change songs that’s being streamed in his helmet ended up with the bike running into the kerb during a smooth turn and crashing hard. And according to the video posted by user “Walterrific”, the end result of this crash was a painful broken collarbone and his perhaps an expensive repair bill to fix up his prized machine’s damages.

What’s worse was that all this was entirely avoidable had Walterrific chose to safely stop his bike instead to do whatever it was he wanted to do on his phone. Nevertheless, we’ll acknowledge his courage and common sense in posting this video up online for the rest of the world to take note of.

This should serve as the right example and lesson at warning others about the dangers of distracted riding, and should deter anyone from the idea of using their phones while riding bikes.

So remember, just before you even consider whipping your phone out if it rings or vibrates while you’re in the hot seat, think about the consequences first. In other words, NEVER USE YOUR PHONE WHILE RIDING FOLKS!
