MV Agusta launches 2018 MV Agusta F4 RC WorldSBK replica

MV Agusta has unveiled their latest 2017 MV Agusta F4 RC WorldSBK replica bike shortly after the announcement of the F4 LH44.

This new F4 RC comes with an interesting race kit which includes an SC Project full system exhaust, race ECU, quick-release fuel cap, carbon fibre parts and many more.

Once fitted with the race kit, the WorldSBK F4 RC replica is said to produce 212hp and 115Nm of torque which will hit a maximum speed of 302km/h without a hiccup.

Shortly after the announcement of their partnership renewal with Lewis Hamilton and official launch of the MV Agusta F4 LH44, the premium bike manufacturer throws us yet another beautiful bone in the form of a WorldSBK replica MV Agusta F4 RC.

This particular F4 RC has been enhanced cosmetically to make it identical to the MV Agusta 1000 F4 race machine piloted by Leon Camier from the MV Agusta Reparto Corse squad. To make this particular edition ever more special, the livery has been garnished with the number 37 to signify the number of manufacturer titles MV Agusta has won over the years.

Powered by a 998cc, four-cylinder, DOHC, 16 radial valve engine, this new F4 RC is claimed to produce 205hp at a screaming 13,450rpm and 115Nm of torque somewhere around the 9,300rpm range. Once fitted with MV Agusta’s race kit, the power output is bumped up to 212hp where everything from the throttle response to engine rev limit can be customised according to the rider’s riding style.

In reference to the super special race kit, MV Agusta is offering it in very special wooden box filled with all sorts of goodies to make the WorldSBK replica bike even more stunning. These extras include the sexy SC Project full system exhaust, race ECU, race-use fuel cap, carbon fibre heat shields and of course, a special single seat tail cover.

To make sure that the pilot can go around the circuit as fast as possible, the bike is also fitted with the MV EAS (Electronically-Assisted Shift) Version 2.0 for quick clutchless upshifts as well as downshifts. With a claimed top speed of 302km/h, this F4 RC needs some serious suspension and braking power to maintain ultimate control.

Hence why they have gone with the fully-adjustable Öhlins 43mm USD front fork and Öhlins progressive TTX36 twin tube rear shock absorber with piggyback reservoir handling the rear. As for the brakes, a double floating 320mm discs with a Brembo GP radial-type four-piston caliper takes care of the front whereas a single 210mm disc coupled with a Nissin four-piston caliper takes care of the back.

As an added bonus, the bike comes with ABS System Bosch 9 Plus with Race Mode and RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation) as standards. WHAT.A.TREAT.

No news on the price just yet but with the F4 Lewis Hamilton edition going around RM300,000 (yikes!), there’s no telling how much this beautiful beast will go for. One thing is for sure, it is simply spectacular.
