Honda Wave Alpha updated for 2020 – From RM4,339

Boon Siew Honda has updated their entry-level moped model, the Honda Wave Alpha, for the upcoming 2020. The main highlight of the updated model is a new modern styling exterior design which is further complemented with new graphics to match.

For those who are looking for a reliable daily machine or a bike that’s suitable for beginners, the new Honda Wave Alpha is perfect, and the latest offering comes with a new front cover design. This new front façade now houses the signal light together with the body cover for better aerodynamics.

Those who are riding pillion will also appreciate the newly installed rubber-wrapped rear handle grip for better comfort (only for cast wheels variant). In terms of looks, Boon Siew Honda also included with a brand-new stripe which ‘highlights an inspiring visual design’.

The rest of the model remains the same, especially its 110cc single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled engine, which produces around 8.3hp (6.14kW) at 7,500rpm and 8.42Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. There are also the under-seat storage space and a 3.7-litre fuel tank for added convenience.

The latest Honda Wave Alpha will be available in two different variants; Cast Wheel and Spoke Wheel. The former is priced at RM4,589 while the latter sits at just RM4,339 (basic price excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). Three colours are up for grabs; Vivacity Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Clipper Yellow.
