2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 introduced – V4, V4 S & V4 S Sport

The first web episode of the 2021 Ducati World Premiere has introduced the all-new 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4, the highly anticipated ADV model that is said to be the best Multistrada yet. Designed to rule all roads, this is the most versatile machine Ducati has created yet, and the features speak for themselves.

Starting with the design, the new 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 still carries that iconic Italian ADV bike look where form blends exceptionally well with function. What you see is a machine that is robust, sporty, and comfortable to ride on any road condition, both on and off the paved roads.

Looking at the front, the headlight is inspired by the very sporty Panigale series thanks to its full-LED setup and daytime-running lights with cornering illumination functions. You’ll also see a strange square box embedded upfront which is the bike’s internal radar system linked to its Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection systems.

More sporty appeal is seen on the sides thanks to those wind-shaped curves that not only looks superb, but also helps to increase stability as well as provide thermal and aerodynamic comfort. This also helps with the overall riding ergonomics due to its slim subframe for ‘greater control and riding pleasure.’

The heart of the new Multistrada V4 lies a 1,158cc Ducati Granturismo V4 engine that puts out 170hp at 10,500rpm and 125Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. Features like a counter-rotating crankshaft (MotoGP inspired) and dedicated gearshift (Panigale V4 inspired) offer even more versatility, especially with its shorter first gear and longer sixth gear.

Safety features come in the form of Riding Modes, Power Modes, ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Daytime Running Light, Ducati Brake Light, and many more that work seamlessly with its smart ECU system which is also linked to all of its radar-powered functions.

Design to be lighter, more compact, and fluid, riders of the new Multistrada will find that riding this machine on any road surfaces should be more fun than ever with features likes a double-sided swingarm, light monocoque frame, and its ability to absorb any unwanted vibrations.

Even the passenger footpeg design was given some serious thought to ensure that the rider can stand up and manoeuvre on the seat easily when riding through the wilderness without proper roads. Comfort is also a huge selling point thanks to its adjustable multi-element windscreen, aero bypasses, side radiator vents, and turning vents which help to divert away hot air produced from its engine and channel fresh air straight to the rider.

The 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 comes in three different variants: the base V4, V4 S, and V4 S Sport. The V4 S comes in Ducati Red and Aviator Grey with the option to choose between spoked or alloy wheels. The V4 S Sport comes in the Sport Livery and Akrapovic exhaust system.

The V4 S and V4 S Sport also have Ducati Cornering Light and Vehicle Hold Control, 6.5-inch TFT colour display with Ducati Connect and full-map navigation system(base V4 has the standard 5-inch TFT screen), Ducati Skyhook Suspension, Brembo M50 Stylema plus more fitted as standard equipment.
