2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 X unleashed – RM173,500, 10 units only

Earlier this month, eagle-eyed spotted came across a very unusual Aprilia naked bike testing at the Imola Circuit. Aprilia test rider, Lorenzo Savadori, was seen riding an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory fitted with front wings from the Aprilia RS-GP bike. We can now confirm that this is the 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 X.

What is this 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 X, you asked? Well, it’s a super limited-edition hyper-naked machine built to rip around the track at blistering speeds. Only 10 units will be made available and for good reason; this bad boy comes with a host of carbon fibre parts, most notably its MotoGP-lie front wings that seriously gives the bike one hell of a look (as well as aerodynamic performance).

You want power? Its 1,077cc V4 engine produces a monstrous 221hp (46hp more than the standard Tuono V4 1100 Factory) and with a dry weight of only 166kg, you can assume some crazy power-to-weight ratio experience for anyone who dares to ride one around the track.

The Italian manufacturer was able to pull this off thanks to a lot of lightweight components such as its full-titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, carbon fibre parts, lighter fuel tank, Marchesini magnesium wheels, Brembo GP4-MS calipers, billet aluminium pieces, and many more. All in all, the Tuono V4 X is a massive 18kg lighter than the road-going version, but with a lot more horsepower.

The result? A naked bike that laps around the Imola Circuit only 3.6 seconds short of the WorldSBK lap record. As stated earlier, this beauty comes in at €35,000 each (around RM173,500). It’s not the most expensive hyper-naked on the planet, but the fact that only 10 units will be made available makes it much more priceless for those lucky enough to own one. If only they accept body parts for trades.
