Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has announced that the 2020 Yamaha X-Max will now be available in new colour options. Priced at RM21,500 (basic price without insurance, road tax & registration) fellow Yamaha enthusiasts can choose between the new Matt Blue, Matt Silver, and Matt Grey.
The 2020 Yamaha X-Max is considered by many as one of the best maxi-scooters for the Malaysian market thanks to its great size, comfort riding, and relatively affordable price. Fitted with a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled SOHC engine, the Yamaha X-Max produces around 22.5hp (16.8kW) at 7,000rpm and 24.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
Paired with its efficient V-belt automatic transmission, the 2020 Yamaha X-Max offers a comfortable yet exhilarating riding experience, even when carrying all your gear and pillion. The huge under-seat storage space presents an added bonus for owners as they can store a lot of things, including a backpack that fits a 15-inch laptop.
We’ve personally tested what the Yamaha X-Max has to offer when it comes to power delivery and handling on different riding terrains from highways to urban jungles.
