Modenas shows support to Malaysia’s unsung heroes

Malaysia’s unsung heroes who have been at the frontlines fighting to assist in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus have been getting a lot of love and support from everyone lately. National motorcycle manufacturer, Modenas, played their part by offering some important donations to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar, Kedah.

Hospital staff members, especially, have been working tirelessly to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and Modenas is fully aware that they need all the support that they can get, both emotionally and mentally now more than ever. Modenas and its employees held a quick donation drive to offer some very essential items for the hospital from industrial fans, electric kettles, to bottled water to help keep the spirits of doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff up during this time of need.

Mr Roslan Roskan, CEO of Modenas, commented, “A very small gesture to the doctors, nurses, health workers, volunteers, medical professionals and not forgetting the security guards, which without them, the livelihood of our country as we know it would grind almost to a halt. With them, some sense in preserving normalcy in our country during these difficult times is made possible.”

A flood of support have been reported all across the country with donations to other parties like the police, from our beloved King, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, visiting police roadblocks in KL, generous donations from the royal members across Malaysia, to lovely care packages to PDRM members in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, the Malaysian spirit is alive and well.

For those who are finding it difficult to cope with the Movement Restriction Order, keep yourselves busy and occupied at home as we all need to ride this through together to stop the spread of this deadly virus. It’s going to be tough, but we can do this, Malaysians and the rest of the world. Let’s do this!
