No news on when the helmet will be made available here in Malaysia but expect the price to be below RM3,000.
The creator of some of the world’s best helmets that is HJC has unveiled their latest addition yet in the form of the RPHA 70 Black Panther helmet. The sport-touring lid is perfect for daily use, long tourers and even approved for track use.
What started off as a joint-venture project between HJC and Marvel has led to many limited edition helmets portraying some of the most loved and popular superheroes of all time. The latest addition into this ever growing list is none other than the Black Panther.
The RPHA 70 Black Panther features some impressive tribal details inspired by the Black Panther’s place of origin which is Wakanda. Designed to replicate the T’Challa’s Black Panther suit, this particular RPHA 70 has all the features replicating the superhero from bright eyes to metallic accents.
Although the Black Panther’s suit is made largely from Vibranium (the same metal used to make Captain America’s shield), the RPHA 70 however is constructed using HJC’s PIM+ materials that makes the helmet super lightweight, evenly distributed and shock resistance which is somewhat similar to Vibranium and ultimately approved by both ECE and DOT.
There is no news on when the helmet will be made available here in Malaysia but considering how the previous HJC RPHA 70 Iron Man Homecoming lid is priced at RM2,779, we can expect the Black Panther edition to be priced around the same figure.
