The ever-popular Yamaha Y15ZR supercub/supermoped has been refreshed with four new colourway options in its latest 2022 model year guise. The change was announced today by assemblers and distributors Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM).
HLYM is typically renowned for refreshing its models year-on-year with a host of new colourways and graphics. For its 2022 Yamaha Y15ZR offering, it now comes dressed in either Blue, Green, Silver or Cyan choices.
The most eye-catching change here is the Silver option as it comes brimmed with alloy wheels finished in Red. Those get matched with a tasty set of red model designation decals too.
Otherwise, there are no other changes to report mechanically. You’ll still find the same liquid-cooled 150cc SOHC single-cylinder underneath thumping out 15HP and 13.8NM to the rear wheel via five-speed transmission.
As for the base sticker price, it now reads at RM8,498 before dealer mark ups, on-road costs and accessories. So which of these four new hues do you fancy your Y-Suku in this year?
