2021 Triumph Trident 660 is coming to Malaysia

The 2021 Triumph Trident 660 is indeed coming to Malaysia as it slowly but surely making its way into our neighbouring countries like Thailand. The folks from Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia have somewhat stated that it’ll arrive within the first quarter of 2021 and we simply cannot wait for that.

Ever since its debut back in October, the press has been buzzing with excitement thanks to what the new Trident has to offer. From exhilarating performance to great design and a price range that won’t hurt the wallet, we’re guessing that’ll be the same exact case once it arrives on our shores.

For the UK market, the 2021 Triumph Trident 660 is available at £7,195, which is around the RM38,750 mark. That’s very competitive considering that it comes ready with a 660cc three-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine that produces a respectable 80hp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,250rpm.

While the Street Triple 765 RS is derived from the MotoGP’s intermediate class is available at around RM67,900, we reckoned that the Trident 660 will be slightly more affordable without sacrificing any of the ride and feel synonymous to what the brand has been offering over the years – style with a lot of substance.

If you’re in Thailand, you can get one of your very own at 309,000 baht, which is just above the RM41,000 mark. We’re not entirely sure how this will play out but one thing is for sure, Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia knows how to stir up the crowd with its history of good price tags on some very great bikes. Stay tuned for more updates.
