2021 KTM 250 & 390 Adventure launched in Malaysia – From RM21,500

KTM Malaysia is proud to announce that they’ve finally brought in the 2021 KTM 250 Adventure together with its bigger brother, the 2021 KTM 390 Adventure for the local market. Launched in Genting earlier today, these are the latest addition to the small-capacity ADV bikes here in Malaysia.

Starting with KTM 250 Adventure, this is by far the brand’s smallest adventure bike to date, and it comes ready with a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 29.5hp and 24Nm of torque. This unit is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, which is further enhanced with the addition of an anti-hopping clutch.

Carrying the same design DNA as its bigger brothers, the 250 Adventure offers an aggressive ‘off-road’ look, good riding ergonomics, as well as other elements that offer a very fun ADV machine. Everything is held together using a strong yet lightweight trellis frame which was developed from the race-proven KTM 450 Rally.

All in all, the 250 Adventure only weighs 156kg dry, and that is also inclusive of all its riding aids such as off-road ABS (dual-channel), 14.5-litre fuel tank, WP Apex suspension package, 19-inch front wheel (17-inch rear), Bybre brakes, 830mm seat height, adjustable windscreen, and many more. This unit is priced at RM21,500 (excluding insurance, road tax & registration).

Moving on to the KTM 390 Adventure, this comes with a 373cc single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 43hp and 37Nm of torque for even greater fun on and off the roads. It also comes with a 5-inch TFT screen that can be controlled using the buttons mounted on the left side of the high-mounted handlebar.

To differentiate it from the 250, the 390 Adventure has different graphics, LED headlight setup and more. To top things off, the 390 Adventure also comes with Bosch 9.1MP Two Channel-ABS (including Cornering-ABS and off-road mode), traction control, and KTM My Ride phone connectivity.

KTM Malaysia has priced its 2021 KTM 390 Adventure at RM30,800 (excluding insurance, road tax & insurance). To know more, head over to any of their authorised dealers located nationwide.
