2018 Ducati Panigale V4 price revealed! From €22,590 (RM110,182)

Ducati has revealed its 2018 Panigale V4 price range for the European market which starts from €22,590 (RM110,182).

The price moves up to €27,890 (around RM136,055) for the S model while the limited Speciale comes in at a whopping €39,900 (RM194,608).

Predicted prices for the Malaysian market would be somewhere between RM180,000 to RM250,000 for all three models.

While most of us will soon say goodbye to the last of the V-twin Ducati Panigales, the rest of the world will be rejoicing on the rebirth of the Panigale model as a V4-powered machine in the form of the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4. Launched prior the EICMA 2017 show in Milan a couple of weeks back, it is both stunning in terms of looks as well as how it sounds as you will notice in the video below.

Ducati revealed three different models for the Panigale V4; the standard model, S and the very limited Speciale. To check out the Ducati Panigale V4 in all its glory during the EICMA 2017 exhibition, CLICK HERE.

So, how much cash do you need to cough up in order to obtain one of these babies for yourself? It’s not cheap. It’s REALLY not cheap. For the European market, Ducati has priced the standard 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 at a cool €22,590 (around RM110,182 after direct conversion).

According to Asphalt & Rubber, the Americans can get it at $21,195 (around RM88,097) which is $1,200 more than the soon-to-be-gone Ducati 1299 Panigale. Let us help you with the math if the bike is made here in Malaysia (provided that our math can handle all the complicated calculations).

The 2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale is priced at RM172,999 (basic price with GST). If we’re looking at the same price hike as the US market, we’re looking at around an increase of RM5,000 from the 1299 Panigale. So, what’s the predicted Malaysian price? It should be somewhere in the ball park of around RM180,000 (IF our calculations are correct).

That’s only for the standard model, folks. As we move to the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 S, the Europeans can get it at €27,890 (around RM136,055). That’s quite a price hike and we’re expecting that once the S model reaches our shores, we won’t be surprised if it gets closer to the RM190,000 mark.

What about the super limited Speciale? How much would you pay for a bike that can produce 226hp while pushing a weight of only 165kg? Brace yourselves, it’s a whopping €39,900 (RM194,608) for the EU market. What about the Malaysian market? Our prediction is somewhere around a quarter of a million Ringgit, probably more. Yikes.
