Honda Denies Technologies and Engines are Shared with Other Motorcycles in Malaysia

  • Honda reaffirms authenticity, addresses misleading claims.

Honda is the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world and is one of the leaders in new technologies. So, being the leader means there will those who want to associate themselves – regardless if officially or otherwise.

It happened sure enough, with certain quarters claiming that some non-Honda motorcycle or motorcycles sold in Malaysia are actually using Honda’s engines or technologies. It prompted Boon Siew Honda to issue the disclaimer below.

Boon Siew Honda would like to address the recent inaccurate claims that have begun circulating. These claims suggest that Honda engines are applied and being used on non-Honda motorcycles.

We wish to clarify that this allegation is incorrect. The engines used across Honda’s model line-up are proprietary designs exclusively engineered and manufactured by Honda. Our advanced technology is not shared, licensed, or supplied to any other motorcycle brands available here in Malaysia.

At Honda, we value the trust our customers place in us and remain committed to delivering high standards of quality and technological advancement. Every component, including our engines, is the result of dedicated research and engineering aimed at enhancing our customers’ riding experience.
