The biggest upgrade in the latest-generation Hypermotard has to be its 937cc Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine which is said to produce a cool 114hp at 9,000rpm and 96Nm of maximum torque at 7,250rpm. The newly-worked engine is now 1.5kg lighter and produces 4hp more than its predecessor.

Looking at its design, the 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 still keeps its iconic ‘Motard’ appeal that has grown into somewhat of a timeless look for this particular Italian model. The combination of minimalism, aggressiveness, and lightweight performance all resembles a machine that is capable of something that will always put a wide grin on any rider’s face.

The 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 and also the Hypermotard 950 SP now feature a brand new 4.3-inch TFT screen and a host of electronic upgrades inspired by their flagship superbike, the Ducati Panigale V4. These electronic upgrades include:

  • Selectable Riding Modes
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO
  • 6-Axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU)

The chassis has also been enhanced with a selection of upgrades which include a brand new lighter steel trellis frame, new Marzocchi fork with fully adjustable 45 mm aluminium tubes and stanchions and twin monobloc radially-mounted 4-piston Brembo M4.32 callipers operated by a radial brake master cylinder with adjustable 5-position lever.

To ensure that everything flows smoothly in all sorts of riding situations, The 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 comes ready with a set of 3-spoke Y-shaped aluminium rims wrapped with the latest generation Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.
