2006 MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden involved in Serious Road Accident

The 2006 MotoGP Champion and current WorldSBK rider for Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team was involved in a serious road condition in Italy early yesterday.

The 35 year old was on a cycling training session when he was hit by the car which caused severe head and chest trauma

The 2006 MotoGP Champion and current WorldSBK factory rider for the Red Bull Honda team Nicky Hayden was involved in a serious road accident in Italy. According Motorsport.com, the 35 year old was reported to have gone cycling with his friends in Rimini, Italy when the unfortunate incident occurred.

The vehicle struck Hayden and the American rider ended up crashing on the hood of the car. He has been sent to a hospital nearby Rimini for treatment. The result of that crash is said to cause severe head and chest trauma to the current Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team.
