Video: Custom Icon 1000 Three Martini Lunch

The Icon 1000 Three Martini Lunch is one sexy custom Triumph Thruxton café racer.

Thought the Triumph Thruxton café racer model (both new and old) is undeniably a beautiful machine to begin with, there are still ways to make it look even better. Case in point is this, the sexy Icon 1000 Three Martini Lunch.

This custom retro café racer was built by The Icon Garage Team, which is a division of a specialist bespoke retro gear brand Icon 1000 that’s based out of Portland, Oregon. Suffice to say, their Three Martini Lunch redux of a classic British speedster is nothing short of stunning.

Don’t be mistake by what appears to be ‘British Racing Green’ that’s adorned on this bike. This green hue actually comes off a 1968 Pontiac Firebird muscle car. Custom fabricated here were the bike’s body panels like the tank, front fairing and tail section.

Compared to the base bike, this custom Triumph Thruxton actually sits lower and longer, giving it a racier stance in the process as well. Adding further to that are the massive KZ1000 wheels wrapped in larger-sized and retro-styled Avon tyres front and aft as well.

Interestingly, while the chassis frame remains unchanged from the original Triumph Thruxton base bike, the Three Martini Lunch does feature the front forks from an unspecified Harley-Davidson. This was likely down to easily house and mount the aforementioned large wheels and tyres combination.

The Icon Garage Team also opted to prime this stunning custom speedster with a gas-charged rear shock from suspension specialists Nitron Suspension, whilst brake specialists EBC supply the adequate anchors front and aft as well.

By the way it looks and sounds, little else comes close at eclipsing the stunning Icon 1000 Three Martini Lunch custom café racer. You can find out more about this sexy custom Triumph Thruxton by clicking here.
