New Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition revealed

New Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition revealed during Motorcycle Live show in the UK.

Suzuki has expanded its V-Strom 1000 range after unveiling a new variant called the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition during the Motorocycle Live show held recently in London, England.

The khaki-coloured adventure bike boasts several newly added features over the standard V-Strom 1000 Adventure, turning it into a much more able budget adventure-touring bike. Primed as standard here are features such as panniers, centre stand, hand guards, heated grips, engine bars and LED fog lamps.

Carried over is the standard V-Strom 1000’s Adventure 1,037cc V-twin engine, meaning no changes in its 99hp power output figure. The V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition goes on sale in the UK first with a starting price tag of £10,599 – £600 more than the regular V-Strom 1000 Adventure.
