Looks like the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati WorldSBK squad is all set for the 2019 season, folks! What’s more exciting is the fact that these two great riders will be racing on the all-new Ducati Panigale V4 R which will run a 1,000cc engine. Although this race machine has not been officially introduced just yet, we have a strong feeling that it’ll make its official debut at the end of the year in EICMA 2019 (together with Davies and Bautista, most probably).

With a refreshed team and a brand new machine, the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team is looking to bring the fight straight to the other manufacturers in WorldSBK, particularly Kawasaki and Yamaha. It has been a tough season so far and they’re hoping that they’ll turn things around for the better in 2019.

According to Bautista, “For me next season will be a new challenge because I will move from this Champ after 16 years and I will move to World Superbike with Aruba Ducati official team. I’m so motivated, it’s a new challenge for me. I think the confidence Ducati put in me is really good and together we are very strong. I think we can get a good result there and have good fun, it’s a Championship that’s growing, so I look forward to this new challenge and I will also try to enjoy my last races in the MotoGP Championship.”

Brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen. The 2019 WorldSBK is set to fire things up onto a whole a new level especially with manufacturers scrambling to bring their latest superbike machinery to the grid. Will Kawasaki continue to reign supremacy or will there be a new Superbike King?
