The 14th MotoGP round held in Aragon yesterday saw a one-two finish by the Repsol Honda boys, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa
Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) showed tremendous progress finishing in third after leading the majority of the race on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP17.
Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) raced brilliantly and finished in P5 behind team mate Maverick Vinales despite a broken leg just 25 days ago.
It was a momentous MotoGP round at the 14th MotoGP round that is the Gran Premiro Movistar de Aragon where Repsol Honda duo Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa scored a one-two victory in front of their home crowd. Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) completed the all-Spaniard podium with an outstanding classic Lorenzo-styled riding on board the now comfortable Ducati Desmosedici GP17.
The beginning of the race saw Jorge Lorenzo pulled off his trademark riding during his Yamaha days where he slingshot to the lead and maintained the position up until the closing laps of the race. It was full of action and drama where it was further elevated even more with the presence of Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi.
The nine-time MotoGP World Champion who put up a valiant effort maintaining the second position before slowly ending the race ultimately in P5 behind his team mate, Maverick Vinales. Not bad for a 38 year old man who broke his right leg in three different places just 25 days ago.

Another major breakthrough came in the form of Aleix Espargaro and his Aprilia Racing Team Gresini who finished the race in P6 behind “The Doctor” which placed him as the top independent rider and yet another Spaniard in parc ferme. This has been the best finish for the Aprilia RS-GP factory MotoGP bike yet.
Andrea Dovizioso who came into this round tied up in championship points with Marc Marquez couldn’t keep up with the front group finished in P7 despite all the issues faced by the Italian all weekend. He now sits second in the overall championship points with a total of 16 points separating him and the championship leader.
Alvaro Bautista (Pulll&Bear Aspar Team) performed valiantly yesterday with a respectable finish in P8. He was even giving Dovizioso a run for his money on board a machine which was considered the previous generation of the latest Ducati Desmosedici GP17 piloted by Lorenzo and Dovizioso himself.
Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) completed the top 10 despite all the troubles and issues faced by both riders all weekend long.
The boys now rest until the next round which will be the three flyaway races run in three consecutive weeks which will be held in Japan, Australia and Malaysia.
