Limited edition 2018 Triumph Bonneville Spirit of ’59 unveiled

Triumph Motorcycles UK has launched two very special and limited 2018 Triumph Bonneville Spirit of ’59 models.

The special edition T100 and T120 carry colour schemes paying homage to the original 1959 Triumph T120 Bonneville 650.

Only 59 units of each model will be made at a price of £10,600 (around RM58,000) for the T120 and £9,000 (around RM49,260) in the UK.

Triumph Motorcycles is known for some very spectacular customised motorcycles over the years. This time around, they’ve introduced two very special and limited editions Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 as part of their Spirit of ’59 campaign.

The Spirit of ’59 marks 59 years since the first ever Bonneville was introduced. These two limited editions T100 and T120 are specially custom painted and only 59 units of each model will be produced. The custom paint jobs for both limited edition Bonnevilles certainly brings out the original spirit of the first Bonneville back in 1959.

1959 Triumph T120 Bonneville 650

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville T120 Spirit of ’59 Limited Edition carries the same characteristics as the original 1959 T120 Bonneville 650 with its iconic blue and orange paintwork. The pairing of retro colours and its 1,200cc parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 79hp and 104Nm of torque is the perfect representation of a modern classic.

As for the limited edition T100, the blue and orange colour combo on top of Opal White is also there to represent the spirit of Triumph’s 1959 Bonneville 650. When it comes to paying homage to heritage, the Spirit of ’59 T100 offers an extra depth of style to the bike’s high levels of sophistication and elegance.

There limited edition T120 is priced at £10,600 (around RM58,000) whereas the 900cc T100 comes in at £9,000 (around RM49,260) in the UK market. No news on its availability here in Malaysia but we’re pretty sure that the folks from Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia can help you out.
