Last Saturday was the first ever Iftar ride for the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Petaling Jaya chapter where they organised a day trip to Melaka. Around 40 members of HOG PJ joined the festivities supported by Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya (HDPJ) conveniently located at the Gasket Alley.

A wide array of H-D machines rumbled down the highway from the Gasket Alley all the way to Alor Gajah, Melaka. The convoy was a sight to behold as they rolled down the open road with a thundering yet disciplined presence. Push off commenced at 4.00pm sharp and the group made it to the famous Seafarer Restaurant ahead of schedule shortly after 6.00pm.

The group was joined by Klebang’s state of legislative member, Gue Teck together with his entourage as well as a few members of Harley-Davidson Melaka. It wasn’t long for the riders to wait for breaking of fast where they were pleasantly presented with some good local food Baba and Nyonya style.

For the night’s entertainment, the members of HOG PJ were entertained by the Seafarer Restaurant’s resident singer which was quickly followed by one HOG member serenading the others with some good old’ oldies tunes.

After a few photo sessions, this group of disciplined individuals was already on their bikes at 9 pm sharp as scheduled ready to head back home to Kuala Lumpur. All in all, the ride was a success as everyone enjoyed a fun trip down to Melaka for some delicious food, good vibes, and great company. Another great day for the Harley Owners Group Petaling Jaya chapter.
