Guy Martin is going to race again!

Guy Martin plans to re-enter the world of road racing again this year.

The 36-year-old Brit rider will be participating in the Cookstown 100 and Tandragee 100 road racing events next month.

Racing in the Forgotten Era class, Guy is going to pilot his very own classic BSA motorcycle.

To all road racing fans, this one is for you. It seems that popular racing figure Guy Martin is planning to put on his racing suit again this year. News has broken out and it has been confirmed that the 36-year-old Brit rider will be participating in the Tandragee 100 and Cookstown 100 Irish road races.

Happening on 27 April 2018 (Cookstown 100) and 5 May 2018 (Tandragee 100), there are two of the top road racing events riders will participate in before heading for the Isle of Man TT. There is, however, a twist to the story. Guy Martin won’t be racing on any superbike in the Cookstown 100. Instead, he will be riding his own BSA in the classics category.

Called the Forgotten Era class, Guy Martin together with BSA will certainly make headlines as soon as he’s on the way to the road circuit. With several podiums under his name, he is indeed a crowd puller and favourite amongst the many great names of road racing.

The Cookstown 100 will be happening on 27 April 2018 while the Tandragee 100 will run its course the weekend after. After that, the North West 200 race week comes into play from 13 to 19 May 2018 before the whole circus heads to the Isle of Man TT for the world’s greatest road racing event.

The question now is, will we see Guy flying around the Mountain Course again?
