FNG Works wins SUPERB MOD Challenge with amazing custom Modenas V15

The SUPERB MOD Challenge 2017 organised by TERAJU and Procara Entertainment saw custom bike builder FNG Works emerging as the ultimate winner.

Five participants were given a Modenas V15, RM10,000 and 30 days to build the best custom bike for the Motonation festival organised at PICC.

Ipoh locals FNG Works and Rusty Factory emerged victorious and took home the RM30,000 and RM10,000 grand prizes respectively.

Six custom bike builders from across the country were chosen to create their best rendition and customisation works using the Modenas V15 as their basic platform. Based on public votes collected via the videos posted up on Motonation’s official Facebook page together with a panel of professional judges, the boys from Ipoh took the hole shot with FNG Works emerging victorious followed by Rusty Factory.

In total, there were five renowned custom bike builders who were given the grand opportunity and FNG Works came up on top with their skater/surfer/bmx-inspired machine. Having collected the most votes, they walked away with the RM30,000 grand prize.

Runner up Rusty Factory’s “Monkey Joy” also benefited from all the online votes as they too got to take home RM10,000 in their ever-growing pockets. Their scrambler-fied Modenas V15 looks amazing especially in that baby blue paint job that’s ready to have a good time both on and off the roads. We imagined that it’s perfect for beach races with the sun and sea highlighted in the background.

These custom bike builders were given only a month and a budget of RM10,000 to complete their masterpieces. During their custom bike building journey, they had to record their progress via video as part of the major Motonation event held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) this past weekend.

Organised by the Bumiputera Agenda Steering Unit (TERAJU) and Procara Entertainment Sdn Bhd, each contestant emerged as overall winners as they were given a three-month business coaching programme. With vast experience in a number of different industries, they hope to assist these local custom builders in the development from a business point of view.

Congratulations to all winners and participants! Through Motonation organised by TERAJU and Procara, the custom scene is just going to grow bigger and bigger from here with hopes that one day, Malaysia will be well-known for superb local talents that’ll help to gain recognition on international platforms.
