Benelli Dynamite Track day rocks Speedway PLUS circuit

Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd organised the Benelli Dynamite Track Day earlier today at the Speedway PLUS Karting Circuit in Subang Jaya.

The event was held to promote its latest machine, the 2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE.

Only 1,000 units will be produced at RM9,988 (basic price without GST) each.

Following the launch of the 2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE (Limited Edition) just last month, Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd (the official importer and distributor of Benelli in Malaysia) has organised the Benelli Dynamite Track Day 2018 at the Speedway PLUS Karting Circuit in Subang Jaya earlier today.

This very special track day was organised to highlight their latest bike in their line-up which is the updated 2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE. Media members and the public were given the grand opportunity to test out their latest machine. Together with the new TNT 135 were the Benelli Leoncino 500 and the Benelli RFS 150i.

Back to the limited edition TNT 135. Garnished with 15 new aesthetic updates and accessories, only 1,000 of these babies will go on sale for the Malaysian market. These accessories include new side mirrors, front brake reservoir, engine oil cap, axle bars, oil filter cap, engine protector, footrests, frame decoration piece, graphics, limited edition sticker, handlebar riser, levers, and our favourite, the carbon fibre exhaust cover.

Apart from the new facade, everything else remains the same including its 135cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. Those who went out on the track were able to experience all of its 13hp at 9,000rpm and 10.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. A five-speed gearbox is fitted to drive down all that available power to its rear tyre.

Although the TNT 135 wasn’t really built to rip the tracks at record-breaking pace or speed, the new TNT 135 LE is regarded by many as a very fun bike to ride around town. Its mini-bike appeal and reasonable power output make it perfect for newer riders who want to try their hands on a motorcycle with a clutch.

We’ve tested the standard Benelli TNT 135 a while back and found that its beefy suspension (41mm USD front forks & lateral rear shock absorber) provides an acceptable level of comfort. Its riding ergonomics, on the other hand, may be suited for smaller riders but anyone taller than 170cm will have a hard time trying to get comfortable while riding.

Nonetheless, the 2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE is indeed a fine-looking bike. Priced at RM9,988 (basic price without GST), some might regard this as a pricey machine for a 135cc but there’s no denying its fun factor and ‘big bike’-ish appeal.
