Over 60 participants from across the country raced in front of hundreds of motoring fans all for the love and passion of anything and everything motorcycles.

It was a lovely weekend back in 6 and 7 May 2017 where the quiet beach of Pantai Bagan Lalang located in Sepang was brought to life and beyond with the rumble and tumble of custom motorcycles from across the country. There were there for one thing and one thing only; the Speed Demon race event organized by Art of Speed Malaysia and Rachun Motor Club.

It was the first event of its kind as Art of Speed Malaysia collaborated with Rachun Motor Club in organizing the country’s first ever Beach Speedway Exhibition Trials which features vintage, classic and modern classic motorcycles thrown in this lovely and exciting mix. The event was also held in support of the Malaysian International Classic Bike Festival which was held on the same weekend as well.

Although it was a race event, the purpose of the event was not really to find out who was the fastest but rather bringing the people who are passionate about anything and everything motorcycles together whilst testing out their customized two-wheelers on the beach speedway track. Motoring fans came with their bikes and families to enjoy the atmosphere as well as the beautiful scenery.

Over 60 participants came together in front of hundreds of spectators where there were two race categories; Speed Demon King (above 500cc) and Speed Demon (below 500cc). There will be a second follow up race where the winners will duke it out once again in Kota Bahru, Kelantan which will be hosted by Rachun MC.

All winners were presented with prizes sponsored by the likes of Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia, Beetle Helmet Japan and TT&CO Helmet Japan.
